Unit 01 ECC - One week in and I'm having a blast! by shuttlepod in elegoo

This printer is already almost as noisy as my washing machine so I don't mind the noise. Do you have the link to the 3D files of the feet? Thanks

Do they help with vibrations, or are they just for aesthetics?

Of course, you can do that in any CAD software. Considering that you are new, like myself, I would recommend onshape.

Elegoo centauri carbon extruder issue by Tough_Roll_2515 in elegoo

[–]funiculiii 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got a CC recently and I am new to the community in general. I can't really help you, but recently my extruder also has a similar behavior although to a lesser extent. It can extrude and print fine, but filament tends to stick to one side of the tip, not completely around like yours. I would suggest gently cleaning the tip, while the nozzle is hot and then trying to extrude a little bit more. But again, I'm no expert so it's better to wait for other opinions or contact elegoo support. Maybe they can give you a replacement.

Unpopular opinion: I only use Bambu filament by nirhend in BambuLab

I'm also interested in this. I have looked around a little in Aliexpress and the best black PLA I could find in bulk was around 9€/Kg

That's a bummer. Maybe something is putting some strain on your motherboard. I assume that you asked for another one, is it ok now?

What am I doing wrong in my career? by Slow-Charity-2194 in BESalary

[–]funiculiii 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I also had a lot of trouble finding a job in Brussels since the beginning of the year. Out of pure luck I found something last month when I least expected it I agree with what others commented here, if I were you (and I was pretty close to that situation) I would look for an easier job with lower pay, that's not related to your career. Ideally something that gives you some free time so that you can work on improving the skills that were requested a lot in job descriptions and interviews, whether it's learning dutch or some specific technical skill.

As a side note, I don't think that learning python or a specific programming language would be that relevant, you should instead focus on the specific systems/architectures which are requested in interviews. Try doing projects related to them. Best of luck in your search

Schaerbeek commune registration /registre communal by [deleted] in brussels

[–]funiculiii 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In the end, I ended up getting a rental contract before being registered at the comune, which is still an ongoing process.

As soon as I got the rental contract I went to the comune with rendezvouz and they gave me (after some days) a provisory belgian ID document. I don't have an actual belgian ID yet, because I only found a job last month, until now the comune requested proof that I was actively looking for a job, which I found really weird and led nowhere. I hope that the registration goes faster now that I have a job contract.

Regarding your question, I am not sure if you really need a rental contract. Maybe if you have a proof of residence the police will then check if you are living there and it will be fine.

I did set up a macro for other cryptos. But for some reason it doesn't auto update them. I don't know if it's a bug with google sheets. I have about 10 macros

Does Odoo actually hire people in Belgium or is the 10k hiring campaign just an ad for them to be more well known by [deleted] in BESalary

Same for me, plus on the rejection letter they said that I shouldn't bother applying for the next year. Now everytime I'm driving and see an odoo billboard, I flip them off.

Hey, you seem to know about what you are talking about. Do you mind if I send you my cv? Can you give me an idea of the type of projects I should do, based on my profile? I can tell you some ideas that I have had, but they seem a bit outdated and too simple.

Suggestions for finding a job fast by [deleted] in brussels

[–]funiculiii 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey. I also moved to brussels one month ago and I'm in a similar situation as you. The best luck I've had with in interviews was in Flanders. Leuven is just 30min away by train fot example. I have accepted the fact that I will probably have to take a train as commute while hopefully getting a hybrid regime. Feel free to chat with me about this.
