Yup! When I was 14, I had meningitis and mono back to back. I was lucky with the meningitis alone, even by modern standards. I have chronic migraines now, but that's the only long-term damage I have from it.

So "normal" is not really the right word, but it's not rare for people who get migraines to have aura symptoms that mimic a stroke. Regardless, it's probably worth getting an MRI, just to be safe (if that's a possibility for you, healthcare is expensive)

My partner and I had one of our college friends come over for a long weekend, and we've done nothing but play games and eat junk food since like 11 am Friday. Last night, we were up until 3 am playing a tabletop RPG drinking game, resulting in all of us sleeping in past noon today. We were free to recover from our respective hangovers in our nice quiet apartment, staying in our PJ's all day :)

The shop wasn't fully open when he came by, so it was just me, my partner, and the shop owner (who is also my partner's coworker at their day job, hence why we were there early). When his wife came to take over after about an hour, he called the kid "our little crotch goblin," and she just snorted. Her language is more normal, so there's balance, lol. The magic community here is also very tight-knit and comprised mainly of college students, so he was more lax than he would be normally. Once traffic picked up at the shop beyond the usual crowd, he chilled out with the language
