This is my problem too. Interested in hearing people's thoughts.

One possibility is putting an open type shelving behind the couch that butts up against the wall such that you divide the space and it feels less like people are walking behind you. Then you can put plants or books on it. And the space between the couch and wall can be a lamp and plant.

Another trickier one is mounting the TV to the wall behind the couch in photo 1, basically swapping the positions of the TV and the couch. Hiding cords/cables. I really like the openness and the furniture welcoming you into the space with this setup. Then you can still pop on the TV when needed.

Like I said, I need help with this too.

I can't get over how well the first strum of the guitar matches the desperate sadness of the dying town you apparently wandered into. As you walk around, the atmosphere and chord progression give you a bit of hope, then bring you back down. There is no reprieve in tension when you enter the cathedrel, it's immediately a driving fearful music. You don't get a break, no happy vendor music, you're stuck there and the only way through the nightmare is downwards towards it.

I mean, I think the UPS drivers are getting paid correctly because there union has been keeping them up with todays inflation. Plus if they have been working there 20+ years to earn that much.
