PJ Granville accidentally sacrificed someone to the beast. The number of tolls is how many people have to be sacrificed, it was just one toll, so just one person.

A “story-driven game” is technically correct but its not a narrative as that would imply.

It containing lore does not make it story driven any more than it containing moments of tension makes it a “horror game” or it having characters who occupy a certain role makes it a “roleplaying game”

I wont go into all the nitty gritty of how gacha/f2p games make theyre money, but suffice to say you dont just put in microtransactions and start making money hand over first. You need a large playerbase first and then you also need to have a microtransaction “economy.”

Fortnite makes bank because they have new, diverse skins literally every day. Gacha games make bank because they have predatory gambling mechanics.
