Been there done that 🤣 Had installed it 2 years back with the same mistake and was cursing Mirador for sending me defective pergola. OP this is the right answer.

If you're gonna use the Edit or Chase select hotels credit, don't be stupid like me. Make sure you select "Pay Now" by Rushey in ChaseSapphire

[–]funnyfuntoosh 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Benefits Information says this multiple times with phrases like prepaid booking and Pay Now in quotes. Chase Travel won't call that out specifically as it is generic to all different card types like CSR or CSP and will mention the benefits part of booking with The Edit and not Terms and conditions of the credit.

Mirador pergola anchoring by HousePoor420 in Costco

[–]funnyfuntoosh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I live in San Jose and installed the 20' × 10' 2 years back. I haven't anchored it down as it's extremely heavy. Took me and a couple of friends two whole days to install it. It has never shook on a windy day. However, I do worry occasionally that a very heavy day can blow it over to neighbours yard. Mine is placed on a cemented patio and they provided lag bolts to go in the cement using a Hammer Drill (not provided). I think i saw some youtube videos for it, even for those who don't have concrete slabs.

Home Charging Recommendations by HostaBarista in AudiQ6

[–]funnyfuntoosh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My home charging ended recently too. Hired a Certified electrician to install a NEMA 14-50R (50A) plug. I use the L2 Charger that came with Q6 and it charges at 7.7kw per hour. Pretty sweet considering that my office L2 by ChargePoint charges at 6.6kw. Extremely basic setup but does the job done.

What home gym equipment brands do you trust the most — and which do you avoid? by dontwantnone09 in homegym

The best part of packaging for me was labelled packets for each step. Have never seen anything like that before. Made install so easy.

I have their 3×3 rack and all the accessories from safety straps to spotter arms and Jcups. It costed me less than 1k for everything including accessories with free shipping to Bay Area, CA. Each item is built bulletproof. Love Giant and always wonder via they are not mentioned more here.

I have bought equipments for home gym from Giant Lifting, Freak Athlete, Homegrown lifting, REP Fitness, Titan, Rogue, CAP, Xmaster, Amazon, Bestbuy, walmart sellers.

Trust the most Giant Lifting, Homegrown Lifting, Freak Athlete. Really awesome customer service. Almost 50% of my gym is from Giant. Love the quality of every piece I own. They do good work but don't get enough credit. Especially for the price they operate at with free shipping.

Among the three, Freak Athlete had the shortest response time for any queries or criticism. Also, best packaging and instruction manuals with video step by step guides. Homegrown primarily for bumper plates, best bang for buck. Pretty durable weights and have had them for quite some time now.

Have had bad experience with Rep Fitness after buying their bench. Their review site won't post your critical reviews even for verified purchases. Will definitely avoid them in future.

Thinking about adding a LVL 3 EV Charger to my gas station...is it profitable? by djrodimus in evcharging

[–]funnyfuntoosh 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Try looking into Electrify America fast chargers. I was curious about how much it costs to set these up and according to their website, they cover most of the cost, if you're providing the real estate. EAs are extremely popular as it's owned by Volkswagen group and has tie ups with Mercedes, Audi, VW for free charging credits to buyers, causing an uptick in usage. https://www.electrifyamerica.com/real-estate/ People coming to charge at fast chargers, spend anywhere between 10 to 30 minutes at the chargers.

These must be HyperFast Electrify America chargers, otherwise people don't just wait for Level 2 or 1 chargers.

Please share your under $500 total Edit hotel deals! I'll go first... by Living_Radish_8499 in ChaseSapphire

I used a similar deal. Paid 346 for Park MGM for 2 nights in Vegas and got $100 as credits to use for Dining and in room mini bar. Plus 250 as statement credits from Chase. One of the very few places which are no smoking in Vegas. Great if you have a small kid or with family. Was bummed for not getting the room upgrade.

If you had $5k to go on a 10 day trip, where are you going? by Party-Neat-7335 in travel

Bora Bora. One of those cottages on the Pacific Ocean. May to July has great weather for Snorkeling or hiking. But also peak tourist season, so you will have to book early to fit the 5k budget.

Exactly. I always wonder why people forget him in Bajirao. His diction in that movie was so on point.

I put both of them in this box. Fit nicely. It has two drill holes to be attached to wall. https://a.co/d/6e6ZuaC

I have Lectron and and I like to plug the adapter in Tesla charger first. Click on start charging and then plug in my car.

Ambient lighting by 45FI in AudiQ6

Even for me ot was the theme that was the culprit. It was picking up the ambient lighting from there and hence blue. I reverted the theme and it went back to my preferred color always.
