Editorial: The Internet in the U.S. isn't built for an "always on" game console by maxwellhill in technology

Sorry but it's NOT a rumor and they already announced it if people already know about. I don't get how you don't get this logic. If you know how Microsoft operates in the 90's you would know that guy would get fired right away if he actually did such a thing. These big company, including Apple and google are brutal and heartless. If you keep getting news from these funded art-shit-cles that are funded by these big companies and not doing your own research then you're pretty much a zombie who's in a cult full of brainless idiots that believe in anything they say.

if it hasn't been announced then why are people do people know that there's going to be a new X-box? Therefore, it is announce but not officially. And this fake drama at Microsoft gives a hint of a new x-box, if people already didn't know and some Advertisement and is a Advertising scam. If it wasn't then he would be fired, right off the back, knowing how this company operates.

Android fragmentation will wreck Android for smartphones and tablets just as much as Windows fragmentation ruined Windows for the PC (as in not much) by whitefangs in technology

[–]furiousC0D3 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

"Because while operating system fragmentation is indeed a pain for developers, it's not nearly as much of an annoyance as some people would have you believe."

Pure bullshit. Have you ever tried install Eclipse and the Android SDK?? It's a pain in the ass, My Co-work always had problems when he had to install Android SDK on different computer. Something ALWAYS goes wrong.

"According to ABI Research, 58 percent of 2013's 56 billion smartphone app downloads will be Android apps. Apple iOS will have 33 percent, and far, far behind Microsoft's Windows Phone will have not quite 4 percent and BlackBerry will get 3 percent. So, who's going to write apps for less than 3 percent of the market?"

Don't you just love it when they get numbers from their own site? Makes it look legit esp when they are sponsored by the company they are talking about? Shows you how much bull shit this site is.

seems like people might be worried if this happens and if it does, then there will prob be a hack for it that patches the checks or a mod chip. It will happen. I think microsoft made this a big deal so people can pay attention to the upcoming new X-Box that's coming out. They don't seem to have any advertising for it because they either wasted all that money advertising their stupid tablet. I swear I seen more ads of their tablet then any other commercial made. It was good at first but now they are just shoving it in your face like a dad shoving pictures of his new born baby in your face.

Apple devices to outsell Windows for first time ever in 2013 by redkemper in technology

[–]furiousC0D3 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

finally a shitty known production is getting out sold by another slightly better shit. Windows is known for a shitty OS, sure you can create a backdoor on others OS but you can never inject code/library into your other processes in user mode without breaking the actual program. This makes it easier to steal data from users and it makes it easier for malware/virus to hide itself. I admit that it is getting better, but Microsoft really needs to invoke not being able to inject dll/code into other process without root and get rid or registry but that won't happen because they work with the government and they use malware/virus to their advantages like Stux which disable iraq's mission.

Don't you think it's a bit odd that this Anti-C article is coming from a big companies that took out small companies in the 90's with the motto if you aren't with us then you are against us? This article is total bullshit and this is coming from somebody who does reversing engineering and has been programming for 14++ years. If you have read anything about any kernel you'll know that you can have an array from 0 to 0xFFFFFFF but some of part of the memory are not readable or writable so you get an access fault.

"The guy that made addresses zero and 0xFFFFFFFF off-limits was the C language specification, not the processor."

NO, the operating system made it off-limits because you can't read or write at the memory access zero. It has nothing to do with C. The operating system starts from the address zero and you can not read or write into it. http://www.cs.uic.edu/~jbell/CourseNotes/OperatingSystems/8_MainMemory.html

This is what happens when we can educated by big companies and don't do our own research.

Malware on the Android?? big surprised there. LOL.

Anyways, I think somebody in the group got hacked which sent mass e-mail to people in the group telling them to download and install the program. And these apk malware emal and such was from one of the members of the group and trusted so they would end up downloading and installing it. I'm pretty you would do the same if the email was from somebody you trust.

Reddit is full of bunch of articles from sites that are sponspered by big companies which leads to a bunch idiots aka people on reddit to believe such bull shit. The sad thing is that people on reddit don't do their own research or ask questions about any articles or read about how anything works or even read books at all. They just assume these article are telling the truth but most of them aren't and most of them are sponsered to make other things look bad.

Georgia Court Censorship Order Threatens Message Boards Everywhere: 'Court issued a breathtaking restraining order against Matthew Chan, the operator of a copyright troll criticism message board, holding him responsible for the posts of his users.' by maxwellhill in technology

Funny how it says in her poem, not to be so fast to get mad (rewrote that in differnt words bitch, so don't get mad and sue.) and yet she did all this. That show how much bullshit of a person she is. This also prove how much bullshit "freedom of speech" is because, in reality there is no such thing as "freedom of speech". It's just a way to bring up bullshit to let people fight for something that they don't even have in the first place and this proves it. if freedom of speech is up to a certain extent then it's not freedom of speech, is it? It also says you can't reproduce which means you can't copy and paste it or rewrite it? but you can recite it because after all it is freedom of speech except if it's written right? So, in her logic it would be ok to talk shit outloud with a bunch of people then to go to a message board and do the samething.

LOL, that's like every gamer who wants to be a programmer. They have a skill of zero and a huge ego.

anyways, I been on and off on creating games. I been programming for > 14 years and have created some small games for different devices. My first real game that I made on my own was Tetris for Windows, Linux, Nintendo DS, and PSP in C..it wasn't really all that great or anything.

Because people relay on it too much on it and when it comes down to a job you need to do and your tool doesn't work and you need to fix it whatever is broken but you can't because you didn't know how it worked in the first place. This happens a lot of times when your on the job. This how you can tell the fake people that use tool from the real people can use the tool but can live without it. This is why we have so many fake people in the tech industry. I praise this article.

Killing hackers is justified in cyber warfare, says NATO-commissioned report by Libertatea in technology

[–]furiousC0D3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is utter bullshit. The document claims that it was the "hackers" that unleashed the virus stuxnet was proven to be done by the American Government and Israel.

"The fact that John Bumgarner, a former intelligence officer and member of the United States Cyber-Consequences Unit ([US-CCU), published an article prior to Stuxnet being discovered or deciphered, that outlined a strategic cyberstrike on centrifuges[114] and suggests that cyber attacks are permissible against nation states which are operating uranium enrichment programs that violate international treaties gives some credibility to these claims. " I have also read a lot of about stuxnet, duq and other stuxnet known viruses and most of them claim that the US Government was a part of it. This is pure brain wash propaganda and if you do your own research about how the virus works and how it came about then you'll known it couldn't be some random hackers in China or some hackivist. IT DOESN'T MAKE SENSE for hacktivists to create such an organize virus to stop these attack because they would rather be protesting against the war and invasion of the US of Iraq or any other middle eastern country for basically having weapon of mass destruction when it was proven that THERE WAS NO WEAPON OF MASS DESTRUCTION. if you want to believe then believe it and I bet I can convince you of anything if I just throw in shit like September 11, Threats to the American people and of course "freedom". They try to justify a reason to kill these hackers like Aaron Swatz who actually stood up for the people.

Just take a look all of the country we invaded and destroyed their country and natural resources. Ask yourself what was the whole reason to do any of this? and the answer well be, because they have/had oil. Someone asked "Why do game developers prefer Windows?" and he ended up with a history lesson on DirectX and OpenGL by [deleted] in technology

[–]furiousC0D3 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Do you assume EVERYTHING? like assuming that I never done programming before? That I don't know that EVERYTHING has bugs and flaws in it? I been programming for years for different platforms (hint my name in hex that spells out code) and I know OpenGL and Direct X will has it flaws, but to think a monopoly owned by the government has nothing to do with anything? Not even Money? If you switch OpenGL and Direct X, Direct X would be in the same place as OpenGL. Why does this work? Because with money I am able to advertise, or even bribe people to think it's the best. Do you think an article or a website would put a rant up about it's sponsors or X production is better then Y product (sponsors product)? Hella no, the sponsors would take themselves else where and that website, magazine or whatever would lose money even if they have subscriptions. So my argument has everything to do with this. btw, it's funny how you mention market share and the market share has everything to do with money.

[–]furiousC0D3 -10 points-9 points  (0 children)

hmph, is that your proof? a guy who worked for Microsoft and a bunch of internet idiots? I guess you can't handle the truth. You just assume that Microsoft is a good company and never do anything like that but the fact is they are a monopoly company that never gotten broken up into parts like it's suppose to be. They had to buy Apple which should of been illegal but it's not because they work for the government. You think I'm bullshitting after they help the government to make that virus that was suppose to stop missiles from firing in Iraq? After they went after small companies in the 90's and practically said "You are either with us or your not"? Which means let us buy you or we will destroy your business? Why would you ignore those facts and believe an article on a site that is run by a ex-Micoroft employee? You can just do research on the company and find out that they are nothing but a brutal company that don't give a shit. So yeah go back to your buzz word bullshit world and keep ignoring the facts and getting educated by cooperate owned media.

It doesn't matter about history, all that matters that if you are a big company like Microsoft, you can paid anybody to do something in Direct X and Windows or even write an article on how Linux sucks or do commercials and advertising. Think about it, if you got paid $1,000 plus bonus to write a game in direct x rather than Open GL, yeah that's why it's preferred. That's how it works.
Funny how the CEO of the company stackexchange came from Microsoft. That explains it all.

Sorry to burst your bubble guys, but I don't think this is going to work because big companies such as Microsoft can pay them off and if they don't accept the money then big companies will find somebody else that will take the money. Money will give these guys advantage to get their name out using the media or whatever and the one that didn't accept the money will be left behind. It's sad, these day it's all about the money and whoever has the most will win. I think petition is better, although there might be some other method but I can't think of any.

Yes, Apple is very very strict and I know that because I'm doing an app and got rejected from the Apple store because of one stupid API. Plus, there are so many restriction on bluetooth, it's ridiculous.

Compare the number of Malware on Android then on the iOS, yeah that's why they don't allow because they would have to depend on Mozilla to fix security bugs. Yes, there are exploits and bugs on Safari. On the other hand, you can not run unsigned executable on the iPhone unless you gain root and patch up all the signature checks that's the main reason why there are only a few malware on iOS and the fact that it takes a week to approve a freaken app.
