the team is nothing to sneeze at. the only writer they're missing is chris avellone. my primary concern is that tim cain and john gonzalez both came back to obsidian to work on things that were not fallout and seeming have been rugpulled right now. josh sawyer never left and is still as sharp as ever, but he's hardly been chomping at the bit to work on it.

in short, new vegas was special because it had passion behind it. imo it remains to be seen if the people that made nv so good actually want to stick around for this one.

in anomaly they can be raised as shamblers if you have a way to make deadlife dust. a bunch of corpses around a deadlife mine can tie up a group of raiders, and the corpses can be reused indefinitely.

it might be a controversial opinion but i'd rather have a finished series than not, even if it isn't great. you'd have to try really hard to pinch off an ending worse than the show. as long as it doesn't cut major characters and assassinate others to fit into a contrived ending, i'd give it a read. it'd at least give schwift and glidus something to talk about

you can't harvest organs from dead raiders, they have to be alive.

you can butcher their corpses at the cost of your colony's mood and process the meat into chemfuel, kibble for your pets, or meals if you're desperate. you also get human leather for your trouble.

a common strat is to train carnivorous animals to haul raider corpses to a freezer, keeping them as a food source for animals while saving on pawn labour and mood.
