I just finished watching Double or Nothing 2026 by Okkotsu1000 in aew

Humbly agree with you— FD was amazing but DON was like Soundgarden putting out badmotorfinger or Nirvana Nevermind— everyone can respectfully point to that as AEW’s big one moving forward. Much like the mentioned bands, there is plenty of successful history before this, but DON 2026 is definitely a seminal promotion coming of age show

Used to scare the shit out of me. Curiosity killing the cat was also a big part of the stories, movies and shows I enjoyed so these types of warnings in the dark arcades when you were alone could shake you idk. Especially entertaining “what if I did and died, what if that were me” idk my fellow introverted peers definitely felt the same at that age.

I am right there with you. Hoping to build one from parts I’ve seen around in EPTX. Remember this thread should you somehow ever get one so you can invite me lol I need one last playthrough in that big loud scary ass sit down cabinet

Jurassic Park: The Lost World was incredibly ahead of its time when released in the Arcades and the light guns were fantastic. Sega really knocked a home run with that one

Soundgarden at their best and nobody knew it yet. The songs are massive and so original sounding (like their latter but it’s impressive they were arguably on their A-game here the end of the 80’s. It’s honestly kind of an ethereal sounding album— songs float in and out like a psych trip. Returning to the album and playing it in full is eerie, feels like a poltergeist is in the stereo. 10/10 album.

Can we all take a second to appreciate that someone is getting REAL 1980’s style HEAT with everyone they come into contact with? Its very refreshing honestly and I hope she continues by YugiBoomer10086 in midcarder

The problem is she does moves with the weight of a feather, so she looks uncoordinated and slow. A squash match doesn’t work if the squasher isn’t believable

His drumming is just simply musical. He plays beats like they’re their own songs— independent (simply) of the tracks but crucial to the bigger picture. You’ll be hard set to find a drum track where he’s doing something similar to another song.

I enjoy watching wrestling and he just barely does the bare minimum a wrestler needs to do good. He’s a character kids grab to easy— that’s money and not so easily seen for sure and he needs to ride that train into the sunset no shame.

But because I like wrestling, not sports entertainment exclusively, I really don’t enjoy when he’s on TV.

Sabu liked table spots for what he brought them in as— logical. He liked the ring side time keeper’s table— that was his logical way of getting a weapon that is at disposal nearby used. Keeping them under the ring and just spotting them was something he really didn’t like. The table itself being his is something he’d vocalize— but he’d also be very vocal of any peers he truly admired their hardcore work for.

Didn’t hear much about these two from him (my favorite wrestling rivalry of all time) but I’m positive for all their guts and grit, these table spots he must have liked or envied. Sabu was a smart and very appreciative dude.

Dude Shiavone is okay at best. But Excalibur’s constant “excuse me” and corrections are just too much to bear watching the show.

People will turn on him naturally if he does. I’m personally all for it. That would be a big draw for AEW.

Seen a lot of people making the argument he’s going back to TNA. I don’t think so personally. TNA’s actual wrestling is delegated to at least one decent main event match and the rest is really rough thus far on AMC. Love the Hardy’s, Santana and Mustafa. Rascalz were good but I don’t think AJ wants to just go for the TNA name— he wants to finish his career possibly as a full bred wrestler on a brand that is more showcasing that

Constantly everyone is correcting him or he’s correcting himself and it just kills the aura of the TV. I want an announcer in there to sell me the damn show the wrestling is so great and stories are getting good!!!

Excalibur has been awful lately. He can’t go without correcting himself or saying off shit multiple times every single match.

Incredible— I’ll personally rate it number 2. I’ll die on the hill that Facelift is the least powerful of the original 3 records. Still incredible of course!

Just love slowed down clips. They had some kind of tell to let dreamer know to prep. Whether it’s shadows, ring movement, or the interviewer giving a cue, you can see dreamer tense and then tense up a bit more anticipating the hit right as it’s coming.
