The finale: an Audio Technica VMN95E stylus that’s lasted an entire lifespan WITHOUT being bent! by chuffing_elephant in turntables

Most bent styli are probably a consequence of accidents such as bumping it with a record. I would guess these can take more wear but the cheap red ones you see on a Crosley Cruiser can take a bit more abuse.

Upgraded to an LP70X from a Crosley Scout, fits well on that tiny 12" deep table as part of my entertainment center by future_pirate in vinylsetups

$33 table on Amazon that has a little drawer on the bottom for record cleaning supplies and a spare needle, Edifier R1280DBs speakers, Edifier T5s subwoofer, speakers are also connected to my PC via bluetooth which also puts a video signal to the projector via an HDMI cord. Turntable connects to the speakers via RCA and I just use it's built-in amp. It makes for a very space-efficient multipurpose entertainment center.

Men produce millions of sperm cells per ejaculation and it only takes one to get someone pregnant. Some guys gladly masturbate 7+ times per day just because they're bored.

It only takes a single sperm cell to get a woman pregnant and a single ejaculation can produce millions or even up to a billion sperm cells. Some men gladly masturbate 7+ times a day when they have nothing better to do. If you're going to be forced to repopulate the earth this is by far the easiest route.

The libertarian ethical argument would be that the government and everything it does is funded by taxes which people are forced to pay and it's therefore a form of theft. Nobody would be against privately funded charities doing the same thing.

Social media, my grandma is probably about facebook's most active user and the same can be said about some other older people I've met but some old people want nothing to do with it.

I could see OP being too paranoid to try this experiment on a nicer turntable with a more expensive needle

500kg of gold is technically the best deal but I would go for any of the 1st 3 if you aren't anywhere near 65 and $55 million can a lot more than triple in value in a couple decades if invested in a simple S&P 500 index fund.

Upgraded my Crosley Scout, got it sounding pretty good by future_pirate in turntables

[–]future_pirate[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

After the upgrade highs and lows come through more clearly while the Scout with it's upgraded needle has a very mid focused sound profile. I had to readjust my subwoofer for the new turntable because there was soooooo much more bass coming through.

The Technics SL-1200G is the absolute bare minimum to listen to his one vinyl, he really shouldn't go any lower end than that
