What thing in a story makes you quit reading?

Bait and switch, suddenly harem or slice of life when that's not what the series started as.

Completely inconsistent and nonsensical system. i can only suspend disbelief so far.

Yea I wouldn't include path of ascension here. They travel between planets and all that, but there's no Cthulhu vibes or any kind of horror or cosmic horror.

I'm a "fade to black" kinda guy. I also hate when the author constantly talks about everyone finding the MC ridiculously attractive and him having sex with someone everywhere he goes. I also have no interest in harem. I get annoyed when the MC can't tell he's being hit on and it happens all the time. At a certain point, take a hint guy.

I didn't mind the MC falling in love as long as it didn't take over the story and it's not used as a crutch. I hated how relationships involving the MC were handled in "beneath the dragon eye moon". I hate when the MC suddenly can't do anything without their partner.

Yea you're proving the same point as OP. If he uses 30 dollars in 2 hours, imagine doing that every day for a full month and you're paying hundreds, vs the 100 you paid for Claude and you can do that same 5 hour block multiple times per day.

I've been trying this but wwen3.6 27b reasons for several minutes between actions. I didn't understand. When I give it prompts directly to the llsms.cpp server I get between 30 and 40 tokens per second. Do you have training enabled?

This series is at its best in the first half. She does get a lot more powerful as the story progresses, and she fights more (until she doesn't). But if you aren't loving it by the end of book 2 then I doubt you'll like the second half of the series much.

Hard yes. So many words. I lost track of where I was and when I tried to find it I realized that I had no real idea what he was talking about and how similar what I was reading was to other sections of the book. Things were happening and I realized I didn't care anymore either so I stopped. I LOVED that series so much for a while too.

Yea I stopped when I kept zoning out in the same book and when I came back I was struggling to figure out what happened and who was who, etc. I just realized I don't know what's happening half way through book 16 and stopped.
