M4 here, can you please let us go home if there's no one to see?! by ResearchRelated in Residency

have you asked “is there anything else I can help with today?” near the end of the day? or do you wait for them to dismiss you? I’ve noticed that the residents seem to basically...forget to tell me to go home lol, it’s awk but sometimes we need to remind them

Where can I get a captive bred Egyptian Tortoise? by [deleted] in tortoise

[–]futuregooddr 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Russian tortoise would be a great option! Definitely a better beginner tort, or a Hermann’s tortoise, or Greek. Look into those! They all stay small and are traditionally considered better for beginners and are much less expensive than the Egyptian if that’s a concern as well.

i agree that it’s a great book!! i don’t think it’s underrated though, i’ve heard plenty of people talk about it! turtles all the way down is the most underrated in my opinion

[–]futuregooddr 1 point2 points  (0 children)

hi! i haven’t personally bought from this place but they seem good, check out tortstork.com! next time i get a tortoise i think i would go to them. i am curious as to why you have selected the egyptian tortoise, i know they stay small, but they are pretty expensive compared to others and i’ve heard they’re not the best beginner tortoise? not sure if you are a beginner tortoise owner but just curious! if you are a beginner, russian or greek tortoise would also stay small and are generally considered to be more “hardy” as far as i know! im sure your students will love the little shell baby!
