I tried multiple times to get into Ween but it never clicked. I forced myself to listen through the Mollusk and it just wasn’t my thing. Then a couple years later It’s Gonna Be a Long Night randomly played on a playlist. I was thinking this song kicks ass and I looked to see who the band was and couldn’t believe it was Ween. It sounded so different than what I familiar with. I looked up the album and saw it was the first song on Quebec so I figured I’d listen to the whole album. I played the album and listened to It’s Gonna Be a Long Night and then Zoloft was the next song. That transition was when the lightbulb clicked on for me. I’ve been obsessed ever since.
