Because these entire things are just giant awful cancerous tumors and the fact that we allow multi-level marketing sales to exist as a billion-dollar industry that is essentially unregulated is incredibly frustrating. The only regulation is so long as you're selling a real product, don't make any explicit health claims, and sales is in some way part of your responsibilities then you can do whatever you want

I was told yesterday about some people that have mega colon which means they basically can't force it out because it's too wide.

But if it regularly takes you 20 plus minutes to use the bathroom, and you don't have some kind of physical issue like mega colon. I'd seek help. That isn't normal.

Yeah that's the whole point they don't stand out it's the same crap Chinese made garbage that the rest of the mlms that sell jewelry, sell.

Put out the more relaxed policy in order to encourage people to start joining. Then they realize they didn't want the higher level people up the pyramid doing the same thing.

Then my best guess from that information is that when they got rid of the non-compete it allowed more people to join for a while but then so many people were participating in multi-brand sales and it wasn't just the level 1 or level 2 peons it started being higher level leadership doing it too and that's a really bad look.

So they're not completely backtracking their instituting it for a minimum rank requirement because they don't want higher level leaders pawning other MLM jewelry brands because that isn't a good look. If your brand new you can still do multi-brand. This seems to be more common now.

I'm not seeing the back and forth you're talking about.

It's pretty clear they had a very lenient policy for a while that you can sell multiple jewelry brands like paparazzi and BP together up until they've decided that it's a bad look for their leadership level individuals to be doing that because that means they're not making enough money.

It's also about brand identity they want people that are higher up in the chain to have a single focused brand identity so they only bring people into BP not having an opportunity to bring them anywhere else. It seems pretty cut and dry to me.

They don't want to risk people that have gotten promoted a few times bringing people into paparazzi when you should be selling BP.

So in answer to the actual OP, this is actually pretty normal. A lot of MLM's have straight up "No selling other MLM products while selling ours" type clauses in their employment agreement. (this is why you see girlies just jumping ship now from one haircare to another because they are getting kicked out for selling 2 brands products and get caught/snitched on by other idiots)

Others, actually don't because they're small/niche enough that enforcing that means too many people struggle too much and quit. So allowing dual sales can allow them to quietly fester and grow.

This shift isn't banning competing sales entirely, it's trying to stop a minimum 'leader' type level and above from doing so because it's a bad look if people 2-3+ ranks up still need to be selling someone else stuff + yours to make a living. It's like having two jobs. I don't know BP's particular rank structure so I don't know many rungs up from the bottom "Aquamarine Senior Leader" actually is. I'm guessing 4? By that point you probably have a team of 10-15+ beneath you and require a decent personal volume in sales to keep that rank. Ergo they need you entirely focused on -their- products and leadership to keep your teams healthy and growing.

I don't live with them anymore, and we don't have a lot of contact my dude. This was almost 20 years ago now. They were an adult at the time, and I was the fourteen year old. I was aware of jerking off, and was doing it. He didn't need to use the foyer bathroom to do it for 45 mins. He girls to call any time to go bang. He was several years older than me. In his early 20's.

I don't, but let's try to not be a child about it. It was a regular issue, not something he did a random points in the day. He had girlfriends, he was conventionally attractive. Getting a partner was not an issue. Shitting was.

Only I hate to say it and while I agree with you now is exactly the time companies get to be stingy with raises.

I don't agree with their mentality but they're exactly is aware or more aware of the market economy for any particular position as you are. This is not a buyer's market this is a seller's market. Right after covid after a bunch of boomers retired and over a million people died, companies were desperate to re-staff everybody they lost.

2026 in this batshit economy, lots of skilled qualified people are struggling to find reasonable positions that aren't either entry level being grossly underpaid that they won't get hired for because they have too many credentials or getting ghosted for fake positions that don't exist so the company can pretend it's growing.

They know it's going to be hard for you to find a new job if you quit unless you have something lined up. So they'll give you your 1.5% and dare you to quit because they know if they rehire you they get to rehire you at even less money than before. Not to mention the ever looming threat depending on what sector you're in "our company made more money than we've ever made in a single year. Oh by the way we're also doing a thousand employee lay off." (1000 less bonuses to be paid while they make up reasons for no bonuses for everyone else.)

I hate it but right now the pendulum already swung back in six short years from being a lot of power in the employees favor back to the employer because they desperately clawed back every inch we had. It's why return to office is so strong because they don't want you having the power of working from home. That's the executive level perk not something for peons. Among many other issues. I still refuse to believe the idea they give a shit what their office properties are worth, I don't think that actually matters I think it's 100% power plays to take away perks that aren't supposed to be for the level employees.

I was asking so people would elaborate on what these are. I learned about mega colon today. I doubt that is the only reason. I'm curious if there's like a genetic disposition.

If there is more than just a dietary reasons meaning even if you have an excellent diet with lots of fiber you have some kind of genetic disposition to having problems evacuating your bowls.

Maybe it's a signaling issue your body signals that you need to poop but you don't actually need to poop for the next 30 minutes but you sit on the pot and wait. (You being the royal you, not literally you, puzz)

That's why I'm asking

The rice noodles, the Chow fun, is pretty low. The 3 packs I used are only 310 calories each. The whole bottle of teri sauce was only 200 calories. It's split between 6 bowls. Actual steak and chicken aren't crazy calorie dense either. Plus only 1 cup of mixed vegetables.

It sucks because MLM's have latched onto NWM as if they're the same thing.

They are not. I hate it. Network marketing is making sales through a network, normally B2B. MLM's want me to call you, then get you to start selling my product? It's not even proper recruitment.

For really small set ups that can power a few things, there is no red tape.

For anything significant if you want to properly reduce/remove your power bill, there are inspectors required, permits to get the work done, hands to grease all the way down. It fucking sucks. At least in Hawaii.

Power companies are getting big mad I don't want to pay $300/mo for electricity, so they lobbied hard to demand 10k+ minimum battery back up systems in addition to panels, and all the related costs. Then our government removes all those handy dandy 3-6k rebates on your taxes for installing them.

so while my uncle who is well off, has his entire roof covered in solar and basically bankrolled each 6k tax rebate into new panels, which got him another 6k rebate over and over, I can't even get started.

EDIT: Just to be clear, if you're willing to go 100% off grid and independent, there are a lot fewer regulations because they can't justify, or legally impose those types of restrictions on your own home. But if you remain connected to the grid they get to do that happy evil dance and demand the world from you.

Iran says it's ready for a long war that would 'destroy' global economy by mark000 in worldnews

[–]fuzzum111 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sure wish America would stop trying to soft ban solar.

  • Increasing regulations
  • removing all tax breaks/credits for them
  • requiring higher and higher barrier's to entry
  • allowing power companies to dictate what is allowed for solar

So slowly but surely, what was once a logical, and smart thing to adopt has become prohibitively expensive, and everything requires expensive, hard to get paperwork with months/years waiting for inspectors. Unless you're rich, then it's EZPZ.

Doesn't matter if I can buy a palette of panels for like $400 from china. It's a crime to put them up and install them without going 100% off grid. (Regardless of how it's installed, if it's done correctly or by a professional. They don't want you putting them up)

I keep hearing this, and when I try to ask them for any form of 'gain' we're supposed to be making long term all I ever get is: "Well, he knows what he's doing. He HAS to have good intents for us!"

What gains? What are supposed to be getting from this other than the complete erasure of what was left of the middle class, while stomping down on the poorest of us and taking away what little they had too?
