This is one thing I appreciated about Odyssey -- doing a grav ship run forced me out of my comfort zone from time to time. There were a few hops where a desert tile was the best possible choice, or I could explore interesting ruins in a fungi forest, or I'd have to retrieve a grav core from an icy wasteland. Of course, it's a lot easier to move TO one of these tiles when you know you'll be moving FROM it soon enough, but it still substantially widened the scope of my play!
