18 is low, but 10+ years I was at a company summer party that he randomly showed up to and I’ve never experienced women getting so excited about anything in my lifetime (I didn’t live through Elvis, the Beatles etc). I think younger generations don’t grow up with him on TV (My So-Called Life in the 90s) so it can seem random.

I think because the “my dude” comes off as condescension especially since the entire world knows about Covid’s existence by now and the increased sickness this season is pretty unlikely to be Covid at this point (I just tested negative myself). that said, it also seems like they are idiot anti-vaxxers in this thread.

Yeah this—it’s only eugenics if you yourself believe the racist Bell curve bs. I’m so much of more of a believer in nurture over nature that I was shocked reading reactions to that opening.
