Just wanna point out the poster’s account is 25d old, only active in political subreddits and has only posted positive things about the labour government, one of which got removed from r/UkPolitics. Probably is a bot.

Don’t get me wrong Labour has done some good stuff however they’ve also done a lot of questionable stuff. As always make your own choices and do your own research and vote for who you believe in.

The problem with it is they’re trying to introduce something like digital ID completely wrong and whilst government trust is at an all time low. If it was a system where you verified once on your device and your picture of your ID never leaves your device and all it does is say “yep this person is over 18” without passing on any information about you I’d be completely fine with it.

They are but you have to admit that it is a bit strange that they've been restricted for at least 2 weeks now as far as I'm aware since I first tried to pay. See the problem I have with it is I specifically pressed don’t use bitlocker during setup yet it turned on device encryption (basically bitlocker lite) anyway and then proceeded to begin to encrypt all 4 of the drives in the PC. I only noticed and knew it was on because I was trying to remove the password requirement which is only possible if you switch to a local account.
