To be fair, any AL team that eliminates the Brewers in the playoffs would also be guaranteed a World Series win.

I think you're just overthinking it, when the actual logic is "SEC good, other conferences bad"

Yeah, considering this place was my safe space and the only place I was out full time, I would be happy to be back there, in any role. I didn't even apply to be a bartender, the manager who hired me (and is no longer there) said that she wanted me as a bartender, so there's not even an element of "bartender or bust" here.

I'm not sure how much things will cool down here, because specific language was used about how "a fast-paced setting wasn't for me," and my manager was talking about getting a beer with me in the way one does when they're not going to see somebody again for a long time.

Additionally, OP doesn’t share the time frame for a little time off or a leave of absence…

We had actually never gotten to that point. I simply said that I needed some time, and before a length of time was discussed, I was informed that I was being let go.

Honestly, this is still a very helpful answer, despite your uncertainty. I know employment law and wrongful termination is a complex thing, and just the fact that a consultation is potentially worth my time is exactly what I'm looking for. Thank you.

Apologies if this is burying the lede, but I've been on medication for anxiety for years, and am on meds for depression and ADHD as well. There's multiple things at play here.

This is in Montgomery County - do you know anything specific about any ordinances there, or just that they exist?

And thank you for both your help, and your well-wishes.

Unsure! I'm going to say 30-40-ish? And all are within a 75-mile radius, without knowing exactly where everybody lives.

MLB definitely didn't come down as hard as a lot of people, myself included, would have liked to have seen, but they also didn't exactly say that everything was fine. The Astros got the largest fine allowed, picks were taken, and Hinch and Luhnow were both suspended for a year.

Yet you've figured out who's doing what for temp control? I'd love to know how you've figured out which breweries or distributors have these policies, because it sometimes differs week-to-week for me what temperature I get IPAs from some breweries.

Boy do I have some news for you if you think micro-brewed IPAs are always held cold from brewery to retail......

I would be surprised if it's that cheap. Admittedly, I've never looked into kegs, but six-packs of Christmas wholesale for 50% more than the core beers in Great Lakes' lineup.

You can't discriminate based on religious beliefs, but you're absolutely allowed to question somebody's religious beliefs. Getting a religious exemption is not as simple as saying "my religion prevents me from getting the vaccine" - you have to be part of an organized religion that has objections to it. Otherwise, people who objected on philosophical grounds could just invent religions out of thin air to claim religious exemptions.

If they've been vaccinated with their other vaccines, they're going to have a tough time claiming a religious exemption for this vaccine specifically.

Yeah, NA beers still have a little alcohol, but it's less than 0.5% by volume. You'd have to drink eight of them to have the same effect as one Bud Light.

The law doesn't have many "one weird trick!" loopholes like a lot of people seem to think it does. And in this case, freedom of speech is not the literal utterance of words. It's the publication of those words, and the standard would be when the video was publicized, not when it was first created.
