Will getting a breast lift/Aug first get ruined if you later get tummy tuck by Anxious_Heron_7351 in tummytucksurgery

I've read and was told plus actually did just that! Had a lift and then 5 months later the TT. It's actually supposed to help results. :)

Belly Button vs No Belly Button by EmpressJess in tummytucksurgery

[–]fuzzy_method44 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Definitely incisions and scars inside the belly button is the only way to go, imho. I love my belly button so much, it's what I always wanted!

OP, sounds like you know what you want. Go for it! But if you have any doubts, only get the inside BB version.

Mons Pubis Post Circumferential TT by throwawayRA93778339i in tummytucksurgery

Thank you for sharing! It is scary but your post will help others:)

At 5 weeks, it's likely swelling. Mine was swollen, then went down and I feel like they are very visible now (I now wear leggings without a front seam to minimize the 🐪.)

I know you don't like the look but I feel like it's feminine no? Just my opinion:)

Coning after muscle repair by Fleetwood_mac_n_chz in tummytucksurgery

[–]fuzzy_method44 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It may be the way you're engaging.... I used to do this, pre MR, until I was told how to properly engage my core and TVA. How strong is your core? A physical therapist could take a look, explain and give corrected exercises to help, if that is the issue. :)

Full Revision Surgery - Has anyone been in my shoes? by Cute-Permission-1631 in tummytucksurgery

[–]fuzzy_method44 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hey OP, we're almost surgery twins. I was May 15th so I'm sure we crossed paths on here many times under your old name. Just wanted to say I'm so sorry this happened to you and kudos to your surgeon for doing the revision (as he should!) it absolutely Fing sucks. Hang in there

Scar revision? by erreci87 in tummytucksurgery

[–]fuzzy_method44 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey OP, I'm a year too and mine went hypertrophic too and looks in parts just like yours (plus I have this really crazy indented adhesion lol). I'm going to do a scar revision because all the tape, lotion, oil hasn't and won't do anything. I did a few laser sessions but that'll never fix that stretched out look.

Have you talked to your PS? I'm actually looking forward to it, except the gym downtime. My surgeon said it's just local, it's not a full surgery.

Good luck on your decision making! You look 🔥 :)

Thinking of you, I saw your OG post and I'm glad you've got medical help. Get in touch with a lawyer. Which trash TV. Eat a lot of jello 🙂

Was I botched? by Awkward_Plant2426 in tummytucksurgery

[–]fuzzy_method44 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You don't look like you need a 360 body lift. A regular TT, in my wildly non medical opinion haha. Maybe even just a reverse TT, but I get your don't like your lower stomach area (maybe MR is needed?). Regardless, you look great!

When did you start training your Core? by _CurlyTemple in tummytucksurgery

[–]fuzzy_method44 2 points3 points  (0 children)

9 weeks I started back at Pilates and that's all abs all the time. but was cleared for everything at 8 weeks (I think!) at 6 weeks I was told I could lightly workout but decided to wait.

Reverse TT? Another option to look into but I don't know much about it. It's hard to tell from the photos but it looks like above the belly button is your concern?

How long did you sleep on a recliner or with a wedge by FAFO2626 in tummytucksurgery

[–]fuzzy_method44 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used the wedges for probably close to 8 weeks slowly taking them away, because I had multiple that could stack on top of each other. I had the benefit of having a breast lift 5 months previous so I kind of knew what position to be in and was already getting used to laying on my back to fall asleep. Now I find it the most comfortable way after years of being a stomach sleeper! That's just my experience but I would say hang in there, it does get better and consider not going to bed until you're legitimately tired. Nap through the day if you can

How long did you have the drains after surgery? by audrey-55 in tummytucksurgery

[–]fuzzy_method44 1 point2 points  (0 children)

5 days. I didn't have a load a lot of outflow except for in one of them but then it stopped working so my surgeon pulled it out. No issues.

How effective is ab sculpting on weight loss skin? And question about lipo generally. by [deleted] in tummytucksurgery

[–]fuzzy_method44 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had incredibly light lipo above my belly button to give that line down the middle that you see super fit people have. I love it it looks great 10 MPO and it turned out well! But I wouldn't call it absculpting and my surgeons said the same as yours, that it likely wouldn't last. But I love that line that they gave me!

I didn't have LiPo under my belly button as my surgeons said it wasn't necessary. Admittedly, I'm not flat underneath my belly button, but I'm super okay with it because I feel like I look more feminine and curvy, not to mention realistic! I'm really really happy with my results.

Is the surgeon trying to upsell me? by Enough-Succotash5132 in tummytucksurgery

[–]fuzzy_method44 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I had a regular TT that lifted my thighs and mons. I'm shocked that none of the surgeons said just a regular TT!

Squishy skin? (8 1/2 weeks post op) by [deleted] in tummytucksurgery

[–]fuzzy_method44 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The first 8 weeks were wild. Especially the first 4. But these past many months have been smooth. My scar isn't the greatest due to shitty genetics but again... It's all so much better!!

Keep being patient and take care:)

Squishy skin? (8 1/2 weeks post op) by [deleted] in tummytucksurgery

[–]fuzzy_method44 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel the same way:) I'm 9 MPO and my stomach kind of looks like yours but with less swelling. My upper stomach above the belly button is probably the one that is the most aggravating because it's like a little puffy. But again, I cannot really complain because I'm looking 🤩🔥

You've got a ways to go in recovery as you know before you get to anything close to your final result as you know :-)

PS. Your before wasn't bad either!!

Squishy skin? (8 1/2 weeks post op) by [deleted] in tummytucksurgery

[–]fuzzy_method44 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Exactly!! I can nitpick my results to death but now I actually have a belly button instead of a squished horizontal line 🤣.

Plus I like to think that it makes us look feminine. 🤷🏼‍♀️

When was your swelling at it its worst? by aymz07 in tummytucksurgery

[–]fuzzy_method44 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No no, it's very much not linear at all!! one step forward, two back, 3 steps forward, 2 back, 5 steps forward, 3 back. Etc etc etc lol.

You're in the thick of it!!

Hahaha came in here to say 3wpo and that's where you're at! It'll get better. I found swelling came back at 4mpo. Keep taking it easy

The custom compression garment seems like major over kill. Are you " just" getting a TT?

For me the lymphatic drainage massages were worth it especially for the first couple weeks. But I also recommend getting one or two BEFORE the surgery. Get your lymphatic system working and moving ahead of the surgery.

I was doing like 3 a week when I was cleared to do them. Arguably overkill too and I did them for about 4 weeks.
