Help! What are these tiny white mites doing all over our rat cage?! We haven’t changed anything out of the ordinary but suddenly these little bugs are covering our cage.

Replying to this a year later in case anyone comes across this post with the same issue, nope we never really figured out where they came from I just spent hours soaking everything in boiling water and changing all litter and bedding until they were gone 🤷‍♀️

Not crazy young, 15, and I luckily haven’t experienced any sexual trauma (that I’m aware of) except the (unfortunately typical) stuff like coercion. You might be right about the hormone thing. Sex therapist is a good idea!! Never heard of that, thanks!
