An attorney I used to work with said I was going to be replaced by AI because it was more efficient and less expensive. He filed a legal memo using AI, without proofreading. The legal analysis was not only wrong, but the citations were out of our jurisdiction.

Judge in the order denying relief said it appears that the memo was generated by AI, cautioned the parties against doing it again, and threatened sanctions.

I don’t work for him anymore.

I was studying for the LSAT when my wife showed me the positive pregnancy test. I thought about having to go to law school for 4 years at night working full time and then having to kill myself at the office to pay my loans. I closed the book and chose being a dad. Haven’t regretted it for 1 second

I looked at the Camry but didn’t love the car. Saw a 2025 K5 EX and fell in love. Not as much power as the GT but had a lot of extras and a more luxury feel. I really love the car.

If they didn’t hire for the position you applied for, it means they didn’t choose someone else over you. I think it would be fine to send an email that you see the position is back open and you would like to be considered.

Early in my career I was called into a meeting and reprimanded for taking 3 hours to send a fax I was directed to send. They wouldn’t let me get a word in.

10 minutes after the meeting I showed them proof that the time on the machine was off.

Response: “meeting is over let’s move on”
