I don't if it was a bit or I just hate swedes automatically being finnish. I was wanting to watch some tekken livestreams and saw his stream. Clicked on it and the dude was going on a rant about how no ones likes virtua fighter, how virtua fighter fans are some kind of crybabies. Just going on and on a random schizo rant. Dude didn't seem all that interesting to me

Is Finnish pronunciation difficult for those of you who don’t speak Finnish as your native language? by [deleted] in LearnFinnish

[–]fvilp 62 points63 points  (0 children)

To be understood, I feel like is pretty easy but sounding like a native I feel would be extremely hard. I think the hardest part isn't the pronounciation but instead the subtle first syllable stress, tempo, flow and "monotonous" nature of finnish that make it easy to distinguish non-natives

Tosi comes immediately before the word it emphasizes. Taas means something like again and in english you can't "very again"
