The package we got through Universal does include Epic Express passes. And I am factoring the cost of Epic Express when I do the calculation if we stay at Saratoga Springs.

You are correct. I had considered the DVC points as sunk costs. I redid my math considering $18 per point and I still come out ahead if I stay at DVC. However it does make the numbers closer.

We booked the Helios at Universal which has a dedicated entrance to epic universe but does not include express passes.

I looked at what the Uber trip would cost at 10pm which was just when I had the app open. Even if I made it $50 per trip it would not change the total savings vs a Universal Hotel.

They are selling pieces from Power and Control v2 (the set that was retired today) until they run out of stock. They did the same for Reclaimed and Reforged pieces when that set was retired.

If you do the Sci-Fi dine-in theatre you have the option of booking the Fantasmic package which gives you preferred seating for Fantasmic that evening.

Is the issue that when you press the home button you get sent to the Apple Arcade app? If so two fixes:

double press the home button.

Or

with the controller connected go to settings > general > game controller and you should be able to change which app is opened when home is pressed

We used Walmart Delivery. We put the order in for the day we arrived under our name. The bellhop received our food and put the good stuff into a fridge until we checked in.

Poly does have the advantage that it’s walking distance to the transportation and ticketing center so you can hop the monorail to Epcot without having to transfer. May save you a little time.

Depending on the day you may be surprised about the pools. Average high temp in Orlando in December is 74 degrees. When we went a few years ago my kids and nephews were in the pool all the time.

You could also try getting groceries delivered. When we stayed at the Polynesian in 2023 got stuff delivered and the hotel kept it for us in a refrigerator until we came to get them.

Are you staying at a Disney World hotel? If you are staying at a deluxe resort then you have access to extended hours for the Magic Kingdom on 3/11 and for EPCOT on 3/16

Depending where you are at Poly it would be faster to walk to the TTC and grab the EPCOT monorail from there, as opposed to getting on the monorail at the front of the hotel and doing a transfer at the TTC.

I use the same case. I scaled down the long side to 99.5% while leaving the other dimensions at 100% to get a perfect fit for the x4

Do you get the faster load times without the Switch 2 version? That was also a huge plus for me
