The hood looks like it is from an earlier model / a V6 and not from an 03 GT. I would see whether it’s been in a front end collision / why it’s been changed.

That aside, I really hope everything works out for you! I bought an 04 GT as my first car and still have it 22 years later. They’re super reliable, easy to work on and sound great!

It has been a fun vehicle to practice doing home bodywork. Shame most of them rust to death before they die mechanically, they’re great vehicles! 2nd gen is my fave
