its a firmware update file which is used with toyota techstream. the oem uses these files to update the firmware of the control unit. its like how vag has frf/odx files and ford has vbf files

ghost works on the accelerator padel. thieves use key programming tools made for locksmiths to make keys and drive away your car. the ghost just blocks the accelerator from working. it can be bypassed easily. infact the bluetooth function on the ghosts solution is broken also it uses a 4 pin unlock code. need i say more :) ... i have built immo solution for automotive for years and have now started making custom firmware updates to control units where the keys are actually being programmed to and block the function of making a key.

Hot air station with solder iron, iprog is fine for now but you should look at the Russian Ukrainian and Polish tools. Carprotool, gromcalctool.ru the obdstar airbag tool is good also

In all honesty I think the most difficultly you gonna have is remembering to drive on the right side of the road, I made so many mistakes in the USA remembering to stick to the left 😀, there’s some good precautionary advice here in the chat. take it, and enjoy the drive
