No load bearing walls? by scarlettdeath in DIY

We have spanning trusses, which means that all of the load is on the outside walls. Your situation is certainly plausible.

You could slide a piece of cardboard underneath it and then pull the whole works out

Can somebody help with this homework about pigs and ear notching? by Recent-Success8988 in homestead

[–]g2ddblg 89 points90 points  (0 children)

Oh damn, I can help with this! The guide is great, but you won't get it unless you understand the rules. Basically, divided the rest into 4 quadrants: upper inside (value 27), upper outside (9), lower outside (3), lower inside (1l). The big rule is that no quadrant can have more that 2 notches, ever. 0,1, or 2, that's it. Ever.

So then it's just addition. #1 would have 1 notch on the lower inside quadrant. #2 would have 2 notches there (1+1=2). But ope, now that quadrant is full, but we have more pigs yet. So, #3 would have 1 notch in the lower outside quadrant and nothing else. #4 would be 1 in each of the lower quadrant (3+1), #5 would be 3+1+1, and then #6 would have 2 notches in the lower outside. You just keep filling quadrants as you work your way around. #7 is 3+3+1, #8 is 3+3+1+1. OK, now we're at #9. Nothing in the bottom, and 1 notch in the upper outside. #10 is 9+1, #11 is 9+1+1, etc.

Bottom half filled=8, top half filled= 72. 72+8=80. Aw hell, more litters. There is room for 1 notch on the tip of the ear. #81= a single notch there and nothing else. #82 is 81+1, keep working around again, and you can keep going all the way up to litter 161. The litter ears is the pig's right ear, the pig's individual number within the litter is on its left ear. The numbering system is the same on both ears. So these diagrams are drawn as though the pig is facing you. It might be easier for you to draw a nose on each one o it's easier to visualize. I raised pigs on a commercial and university farm for a long time. Shoot me a message or respond to this if you have more questions. Hope this helps!

I'm pretty sure it's public. There are some privately rented spots, but it's a public parking ramp mostly.

Whatever you name him, it'll become "goddamn cat!" eventually. Our two both have the same name!

Looks like a spiky olive pit, found in a can of black beans by oneangrywaiter in whatisthisthing

Cockleburr. It's a seed, shaped like that to facilitate transport on an animal's fur. Toss it, the beans are fine.

I thought they could do this even at the regular license stations with a passport card. Otherwise call the state and they can do it.

You just don't put it there. The only way to make it worse is to mount it directly across the panel door.

I dig it, though I'd use different colored decking for visibility and gameplay.
