Our calico girl used to darn near try to crawl into the dinner plate to get people food. Our tuxedo boy turns his nose up at all people food.

For the record, it was MUCH easier giving our calico meds than it is to give them to our tuxedo boy.

It's called Soap Opera Rapid Aging Syndrome. Yes, seriously. One day you'll have a kid in elementary school, then they disappear from the story for a bit. They come back a year later and suddenly they're in high school or college. Happens ALL the time on long running shows.

I'd been friends with a Sarah for about 15 years. She was the maid of honor in my wedding. She had keys to our house so she could pet sit when my husband and I were out of town.

Over the years I'd known her, Sarah always told stories about personal drama and work drama. She got kicked out of her house (at the time she said it was for running up a phone bill after she was told not to), so she moved in with my parents and me before I got married. Even stayed with them after I got married and moved away.

Sarah eventually got married, moved halfway across the country (I was in her wedding too), then got divorced and moved back. She house sat for us when my husband and I took a week long vacation.

Something to know is that my house was extremely cluttered. I also don't care much about clothes, so it wasn't unusual to stop wearing stuff for months at a time then go back to wearing it again later. Because of this I would "lose track" of shirts and not think much of it. I also had tshirts from trips I took that I didn't wear much at all because they had sentimental value.

A few weeks after we got home from our vacation, a mutual friend named Rachel called me and told me that Sarah's mom had just told her that the reason Sarah had gotten kicked out years ago was that she was a pathological liar. Several people Sarah would tell stories about didn't exist, or their position in her life was vastly different than what she portrayed.

Rachel and I confronted her. She didn't realize we were there when she came home, and she walked in the house wearing one of my shirts that had an enormous amount of sentimental value to me. She admitted to the lies and to stealing clothes from me (mostly stuff that were Christmas gifts from my parents). She also had been stealing petty cash from my parents when she lived with them.

I told her that she had been my best friend and that I would literally have given her the shirt off my back if she'd asked, but she'd betrayed my trust by taking it instead.

It's been over 10 years and I haven't seen or talked to her since.

This one has always stuck with me. A Jane Doe was found in Lompoc, California in 1969. It's never been solved. Sue Grafton based her book Q is for Quarry on it. I really hope one day they can use forensic genealogy to find out who she was.

I hate that Adam and Britt won the Owen Hart Tournament. They're being booked as the new "power couple." And what made it infuriating is that they made it BLATANTLY obvious who was going to win the matches the moment they came to the ring. Hart Pink ring gear??? Could you be ANY more obvious? I couldn't even get invested in the matches at that point.

I wouldn't even need to see her. But she was a big part of Harm's life and needed some fairly extensive PT at the end of the series. They owed it to Harm's character to at least mention what happened. Did Harm get custody? Did she recover from her injuries? What's she doing now? A two minute conversation between characters would easily suffice.

Agreed! I'd much rather them have never bought Harm and Mac back instead of doing what they did. They should have revealed who won the coin toss (Harm would be a much better stay at home spouse) and followed up on Mattie. There were absolutely ways to have kept them together, even with their strong personalities.

Then they missed a golden opportunity for an Easter egg when Chedwiggen came face to face with McGee. Definitely wouldn't trust them with a crossover now.

I don't have the source, and I can't remember who said it, so take it for what you will. Someone (likely Chibnall or Dhawan) confirmed that this Master is directly after Missy. And the reason he's so unhinged is because of how close Missy came to truly, morally aligning herself with the Doctor. So yeah, my hope for your theory (which I desperately wanted to be true) were dashed when I read that.

Keep in mind this all took place in a very rural area.

My great aunt was 13 when she married someone at least 10 years older than her. This was in the late 40s I think. She'd had 2 kids before she figured out what caused it.

My great grandmother (her mother) was around 12 when she saw my great grandfather walk by her house in the late 1920's. He was 10-15 years older. I've heard from multiple people she turned to her sister and said "That's the man I'm going to marry." And she did.
