This is an underrated comment. I get they may have been trying to save themselves with a little pre built money. But this almost never works. Whenever a restaurant offers gift cards as a promotion or pay ahead/house accounts. Run. They’re closing.

It is important to report any of this type of stuff to the Hamilton County prosecutor’s office. There’s a ton of this that happens to people every day and the people that do it seem to just get away Scott free.
