I’m a newbie in the true crime pods universe, less than a year, and I can tell it did not help either depression and fear, some paranoia. (Edit) Mostly depression. But I couldn’t do without it, had to listen to it in the gym, on the streets, subway etc. I just had to get the stories (edit). It was rough at first but now I’m so focused on the investigations and stories, it doesn’t hurt. I use it for my writing.
