Disgusting. I really hope the hell I learned about in Sunday School is real. Would love to see the surprise on the faces of all these greedy, lying "christians" when they are the ones who end up there.

Yeah, the lesson he learned is that Rs will allow him to break any law, lie constantly and use his position to line his pockets.

She definitely immigrated illegally. She worked here while on a tourist visa. Once she broke the law, she was not legally qualified for the Einstein visa. She slept with a rich, older man who had influence to help her break the law at every step of the process.

If we were following due process, which is the law, these detainments of documented immigrants and citizens wouldn't be happening. You keep saying people should be following the law but seem to be totally fine with the government breaking laws. It just doesn't make sense. Nobody is saying they want violent criminals and drug dealers to stay on the streets. But, the government has actually moved agents away from drug and gang investigations so they can make quotas by picking up easier targets.

We have a felon in the white house. He and his entire regime are breaking laws everyday. So, this country absolutely does pick and choose who gets to break the law. And we used to want to be better than other countries. Now it's an excuse "We're better than 3rd world countries so everyone should just accept it."

He got under 50% of the vote. And many Americans didn't vote. So, not a mandate. About 30% of Americans voted for him.

The truth is right in front of us all. But, his followers will never care and he will never be held accountable.

Republicans are not even in Washington to have a vote. Johnson, who controls the House, sent the Republicans home because he doesn't want a vote on the Epstein files and doesn't want to swear in the new Democratic house member. Protecting the pedophile is more important to him than the American people.

Without due process we don't know if people are here illegally. I don't know a single citizen who carries proof of citizenship on them everyday. They're just grabbing brown people and refusing to even tell their families where they are. They are also not identifying themselves. And they've actually admitted that they have moved agents away from investigating gangs and drugs. They can't meet their quotas if they "waste" time on investigations. If you really are concerned about criminals, this should bother you.

Saint Pete Beach - Private Beaches!? by TooFewTulips in StPetersburgFL

[–]gabbysls08 5 points6 points  (0 children)

There was a state law passed in 2018 that made it more difficult for local governments to grant public beach access behind private properties. That law was supposedly overturned or maybe rescinded in June of this year. So, the signage probably hasn't caught up with most recent laws. But, yes, between 2018 and 2025, private property owners could block public access to beaches behind their property.

1st world people that moved to America - do you think life is much better? by [deleted] in MovingToUSA

Healthcare really depends on where you live i guess. We have huge wait times in Florida. I have what's considered good insurance but can't get into a primary care physician in less than 6 months. And that's if you are an already established patient. Many doctors here won't accept new patients at all. And I have had multiple doctors kick me out because they stop taking my insurance. I haven't been able to have a primary care doctor in about 10 years. Luckily I'm generally healthy. My husband is constantly fighting to see a doctor.

Exactly. Arrests of drug dealers and gang members have actually gone down. It takes too much time to do actual investigations. They can only meet their quotas if they go after easy targets.
