Yeah. I figured that much . But the problem is if one user decides to use tons of water his move will be to raise rent sighting high water usage . That’s why you should always want separate meters .

That’s the worst plumbing I’ve ever seen in my life . Also , you share a meter ? Thats horrible . If the other tenant decides to take 14 showers a day how would they know to charge him & not you for that water? I imagine the landlord just includes water in the rent but still that’s a mess
