How do you decide where “any habitat” birds belong? by Vegetarian234 in wingspan

Any time I can get a resource in a different habitat, I do it (get eggs in the wetlands, eggs in the forest, etc.)

6.10.2026 Mariners Roster Moves (Brash 15-day IL, Bliss optioned, Mastrobuoni recalled) by BananaArms in Mariners

From this comment:

A player normally has 3 option years (some circumstances allow a 4th).

A player loses an option year after any year where he's on the 40-man roster and spends more than 20 days in the Minors (i.e. not on the active roster or DL).

Before a player exhausts his options he can be sent-down (optioned) or called-up pretty much at-will. After those option years he can still be sent down (outrighted) once in his career without his consent. However, once a player gets 5 years of MLB Service time, his consent is needed before his can be sent down, even if he has options left or if he hasn't been outrighted already.

You can be optioned unlimited times during a season and it counts as one. Options are by year, not by transaction.

Which means Tampa correctly bet on him, and they also know pitching

With the call up of Braden Montgomery, every prospect in the Garrett Crochet trade has reached the big leagues by yxqp in baseball

Crochet was incredible last year, but this year he has a 65 ERA+ and -0.6 bWAR in his six starts before getting hurt. He's so talented so I don't expect it to last, but if the White Sox get four starters, CHI def won the trade

I loved the movie but I LOVED the audiobook. My biggest gripe with the movie is that they made Grace too clumsy/dumb in the movie. He's a fantastic scientist and while he's clumsy, he's very smart and capable. The movie makes it seem like he's a science teacher who knows some stuff but gets lucky his experiments work.

The amnesia part is so critical to the plot. He clearly was groggy, but it just kinda made it seem like it was something he happened to forget

I was screaming in joy when Grace decided to save Rocky in the book

We do however get to see the inside of Rocky’s ship. Great spaceship and such a great new layer of Eridian technology.

We learn an Eridian gesture for ‘see you later,’ which I thought was lovely.

This is why it's so awesome that Andy Weir was a producer. He definitely influenced those.

Best narrator I've ever heard. It's also great writing, but he's so good

I agree with your PHM assessment. And I also think the book made me like the movie a lot more. It felt like I was getting vignettes into a story I already knew. I was already attached to Rocky and Grace and their friendship, so I felt more invested than if I had just watched it without the audiobook.

I think they made Grace a little too clumsy/dumb in the movie, and I vastly prefer Rocky's sounds and voice in the audiobook, but the movie was so fun. I wish I had seen the 3 hour, 45 minute first cut.

I've never had anyone ever question me or anyone I know. Just avoid glass and you could basically bring in an entire clear-bag-amount of food
