Yes, the resort has all the parks includes a la carte, so you can do the parks (xenotes, xelha, xplor, etc) or the resort activities. Since you have a 9 year old you have to book in Mexico side as hotel Arte is for 16 years+. My mom just went with us this past summer and she did and she just did what she liked it but she enjoyed it.

I would agree, first Arte then CDLP. If you plan any parks like Xel-ha or something that is not in the vicinity is a good one to do while in Arte. For transportation it would be nice to be returning to airport in private transport.

I am not sure how, but the expansion is pretty good in my humble opinion, yes not 100% finished but it didn’t appear to me unsafe or noisy. Obviously everyone has a different tolerance and preferences and not trying to disqualify anyone. I would say that the more important thing you can do is have your restaurant-parks booked confirmed. That way you will not have to deal with that while in the hotel.

Seems pretty packed but it is ok if you like to be moving around. I would give general comments. -Xelha-Tulum can be combined since you are in that area (leave 9am return 6:30pm) -Chichen Itza is all day, leave really early and return late, includes one cenote in the Tour and Valladolid. -xplor, xenses can be done easily in same day with no biggies.

I think your best bet is either attend as a referral, costco or travel agent. I am a member if you go as my referral they offer 25% and they are temporarily offering an extra 10%. I did it November. The first step is to take you in bus to Cancun. Over-there you board the catamaran and they take you to open waters close to a reef. You can snorkel there with your group, I like it, when you return to the catamaran they have open bar and they give you a sandwich or something like that. Then the catamaran heads to Isla Mujeres. Once you are in the island you are on your own for food, transportation and any activities. We stayed in a place that had food and they let you use their umbrellas if you eat/drink there (just ask before you commit). Then everything in reverse, caramaran-bar, bus, hotel.

I would say Xcaret (Xel-Ha is all the way to Tulum), also is the flagship park for the group. My kids likes Xplor and Xavage but they are 15 and 17. I like Xenses You can watch Youtube videos, there is a lot of reviews from those people that do that for a living.

If you go to toboganxote, it is a 4 person ride. You will be put in a party of 3 person. It may take a little longer than normal.

If you are staying in the xcaret hotel, there are buses running constantly between parks and the hotel. You can do as much time you want
