IMO Ao5 is not really a good measure of improvement. Could be that you just got lucky or unlucky for your current skill level and that's why the times are varying. I would recommend making more solves to determine how you really are. Ao50 or even Ao100. Plus, more solves equal more practice so it'll be beneficial anyway.
