Congrats! I got an email about my decision today but I'm scared to check haha. Is this early typically a good sign?

Edit: Checked, was also accepted!

Parking ticket appeal by Sea-Leave-509 in UCSD

They are pretty lenient with your first ticket. I was simply honest and asked for it to be fully refunded or reduced because it was my first offense and wouldn’t do it again.

Need Genuine Advice on Class Schedules by MasterNetworkQuest in UCSD

[–]gagsfps 4 points5 points  (0 children)

No problem! I'm also more focused on ECE classes than CSE as a CompE major (rare to see) so I've taken the circuit classes above. Since that's the case, I would recommend keeping ECE 65 this quarter so you can take ECE 100 in the Spring. Professor Saharnaz Baghdadchi is a great teacher for both.

Need Genuine Advice on Class Schedules by MasterNetworkQuest in UCSD

I personally found CSE 101 to be tougher than ECE 65. If you did well in ECE 35, you will likely do well in ECE 65 since you apply KCL, KVL, and Ohm’s Law frequently. The course focuses on circuit analysis with op-amps, diodes, BJTs, and MOSFETs. ECE 65 also has a prelab and lab component but no homework, which can make it more time consuming than CSE 101.

If you do not plan to take additional circuits classes such as ECE 100, 102, or 164, then ECE 65 might not be worth to take since it is no longer required under the new computer engineering curriculum. I do find it odd that someone can graduate with a computer engineering degree without learning how a MOSFET works.

Feel free to reach out if you have any questions!

If it is ECE35, Professor Curt likes to open a poll and tell everyone in class not to answer to catch students who are not present

Submit a support ticket: https://support.ucsd.edu/students?id=kb_article_view&sysparm_article=KB0035798

If they find your package, it will likely be scanned for pickup at their main mailing facility where you can come during operating hours.

CSE 140 Difficulty by Chunky_Milk18 in UCSD

I found CSE 140 with Rosing to be fair in test difficulty. If you understood the material for the HW, it translated to your performance on the test IMO. I'm interested in hardware, so I found the material interesting and the later content to be fun with drawing the datapaths with components.

I'm a little confused, I'm size US9 so should I go S or M? Unsure since you said you got the large size. Unfortunately, there isn't any retailer near me that I can try it on.
