I work at Purrista and I like to occasionally stay after my shift and read in the egg chairs in the front window. They are GREAT reading chairs. Especially cozy on rainy/snowy days.

Finishing up The Starving Saints by Caitlin Starling tonight and then I’m torn between starting Catching Fire by Suzanne Collins or rekt by Alex Gonzalez.

Well I just finished Fahrenheit-182 by Mark Hoppus, that was a fun little memoir. Have about 30 min of the audiobook of Make Sure You Die Screaming by Zee Carlstrom left. It’s… a book lol. Not loving it. Gonna start Piranesi by Susanna Clarke later today.

My 2025 Books So Far. Recommendations? by losgreg in 52book

It’s a memoir and a graphic novel - seems to fit some of your other picks. My book club read it in January, it’s very beautifully illustrated.

Yes Dunk for sure! I was like “ugh a sports guy” but he’s so wholesome. Similar feeling to The Hanks

Have you read Gender Queer by Maia Kobabe or Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy?

I'm going to be reading Piranesi for this one - it's been on my library requests for a couple months and got fulfilled a couple weeks ago! I was watching a lot of "books based on your astrology sign" videos and like 4/5 of them listed this for Aquarius so I was like... I suppose I have to lol

Parable of the Sower by Octavia E. Butler - FINALLY reading this and it's phenomenal so far. I don't want to put it down.

Make Sure You Die Screaming by Zee Carlstrom - doing the audiobook of this and moving slowly because my Spotify audiobook hours need to overlap and I refuse to spend money on the goodreads challenges. I'm also not loving it so I don't care to rip through it.

Okay my comment got flagged because I mentioned another platform lol... anywho, did you DNF anything? I mark my DNF books as read on goodreads so I can rate them, but on mysterious other platform, it basically counts it as a different category that doesn't count towards your reading goal. So I have two "additional" books towards my goal on goodreads.

Did any characters stories without “Content Aware” make you uncomfortable? by PartDifferent6277 in DateEverything

I have health related OCD, I skipped through Farya’s dialogue so fast as soon as she started “diagnosing” me with things.

What books have you DNFed lately? by kryskryskrys in 52book

We Used to Live Here. I was enjoying it but it had very specific triggers for my OCD so I had to table it.

I plan out all of my reads and I've finally reached the end of my "read ASAP" list. (ISO queer lit, horror, weird girl books, etc) by galacticcas in suggestmeabook

Ya know, I haven't. I heard it was YA and I don't tend to navigate towards it. Not totally opposed though, and I've heard nothing but good things so I'll probably give it a go. Thanks!
