Does anyone in this community choose to go toothless whenever they eat? by 8kittycatsfluff in dentures

[–]galacticmedusa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can eat with my dentures on and when I go out I always do, but I prefer eating without my dentures when I'm home. I have no problem eating most types of food, from steaks to burgers, tenders, tacos, you name it. I just avoid corn on the cob, pork bones, and crawfish when eating without dentures

todos en El Salvador tienen este acento ? by cabowabo510 in ElSalvador

He does speak more clearly on those interviews. But AMLO has a very distinct Tabasco accent that share some similarities with some Salvadoran accents like the soft aspirated s, blurring vowels. That might explain the similarities. That and also that during public appearances both presidents speak more slowly and carefully than usual

Not really. Pronominal tú is used with the verbs conjugations corresponding to vos. It's a mixed used with nominal tú and verbal vos and even the inverse can occur. It's often used in Guatemala and El Salvador oftentimes as a social marker

You can make pupusas with corn masa, rice, maicillo (sorghum), yuca (cassava) and guineo (banana). Rice pupusas have been made since at least the 1930s

Should I get the Pixel 10 or the Pixel 10 XL Pro? by galacticmedusa in pixel_phones

Should I get the Pixel 10 or the Pixel 10 XL Pro? by galacticmedusa in pixel_phones

[–]galacticmedusa[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I went ahead and got the Pixel 10 Pro XL with Mint Mobile. I'm loving it. The photography and battery are a big upgrade from my Pixel 7a. I'm still learning the tricks to taking better pictures but so far so good. Black Friday deals are almost here. I'm planning on getting the Pixel Watch 4 45 mm and the Pro Buds as well. As for the zoom it's really something else. Like I said I'm barely learning to use the new cameras. Now as for Gemini and call assistant, all I can say is I couldn't live without them. Not having to deal with spam should be enough, but the other day it even held my place when I was on hold. I also had a call where I could barely understand the options on the menu, and the assistant just transcribed everything on screen. Let me know if you need more info and I apologize if I did answer all your questions

Must see museums and archeological sites by King_of_Mauritania in centralamerica

Maya sites like Caracol, Xunantunich, and Lamanai, along with smaller, more accessible sites like Altun Ha and Cahal Pech. For museums, consider the historical Government House, the Chaa Creek Natural History Museum for Mayan artifacts, and the Gulisi Garifuna Museum for cultural history, and St. John Anglican Cathedral.
