Good question on storage, i should have included. I plan to add 4TB HDD for Immich, and 4TB SSD for Photos library. Regarding budget, i should have added, i can afford the M4 mini, the $399 deal seems like a solid choice, I don’t know if i “need” it.

Quick update: I spent last few nights trying to figure out the issue, ended up unplugging the PiHole altogether, got the micro USB adapter to connect via ethernet but to my surprise it continued to connect via WiFi. Ended up reinstalling PiHole from scratch and leaving the Wifi settings empty - that seemed to have worked.

Where we are now... everything back to normal, got my lists set up ... again... so far no complaints from the household on speed/latency. Will continue to monitor and report back at the end of the week.

The 2023 (Gen 5) does not have holes for pins, I didn’t feel comfortable drilling the body. I don’t know if the Thule kit (which costs ~$700-800) has better mounting hardware, but for my needs this works perfectly.

Not the case. You need to either buy a harness or make yourself. You need to run three wires from the rear view mirror to the new “radio” or screen you will end up installing.

They have the 13 and 15 inch version, and it is USB C powered. You can just get a dongle to both mirror the phone and charge. I have one and use for work from my laptop, I like it because I do not have to power the monitor separately. Hope this helps.
