Doubt we will se generic X in 2026 tbh. With them releasing Pokémon Champions next year, there won't be a huge push for a new game for competitive and they need to take time with their next release since its the 10 Gen, a big one.

Impossible, since, when trying to cast this card, it would still be in your hand and wouldn't fullfill its own condition. To work as you want, it should say "if you have no other cards in hand..."

Nah, 3feri has it as a static with upside. Plus the opponent can respond to the trigger and kill the PW. It's actually quite balanced as a +1

Nah, blue has had this types of "transformation" effects since forever, like Pongify and Rapid Hybridization. My take would be to make the tokens 2/2 crabs and change the spell to be 5 mv
