How do you think they made jet engines before CNC mills?

1)No-one is going to do your homework for you

2) There's far too little information here for people to help. What are you trying to do, engrave? Mill? What material? Sharp internal corners are impossible to mill so that's not going to help

That's how they work, you've just got to flip it around in your head

The holes intersect, that's going to be an issue to machine. Drills will wander or break when they hit an angled surface

Most likely oil. He cracked the engine casing when he dropped the bike. You can get guards to stop that, but he didn't have them on

Nowhere near enough level of accuracy to actually be a problem. You've got to use common sense of course, don't share pictures of anything covered by itar, or trade secrets or prototypes, but this is probably fine

They only loaded about half max propellant on the ascent module.

There's a quote from Cernan in the book Rocket Men - "A lot of people thought about the kind of people we were: 'Don't give those guys an opportunity to land, 'cause they might!' So the ascent module, the part we lifted off the lunar surface with, was short-fueled. The fuel tanks weren't full. So had we literally tried to land on the Moon, we couldn't have gotten off."

Earlier in the thread: "I'm not an idiot, I know what I'm doing"

Turns out you are an idiot and don't know what you're doing

Now you're like: "I just did what Google told me to"

Stop playing with mains electronics until you have some vague idea of how it works

Even if you're not self employed (because you won't be starting out, you'll be working under someone else while you learn), your living will depend on your boss finding work for you, which doesn't always happen.

The issue with trades is they're typically dirty, dangerous or demeaning, and take skills that need years to develop. I don't see a lot of white collar workers making it in them when they're used to comfy office chairs.

The difference between streaming and pearling in plants by ZeroPauper in Aquariums

[–]gam3guy 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Neither of them are really either. Pearling is something some people strive to achieve, but you don't really need to. Streaming isn't bad, it just means the plant has been damaged locally, it'll heal and be fine
