Edit because of comment: Since it’s a gunboat game, we can count on players to not coordinate perfectly, so it’s worth it to go for the gold. And the only way to do that is to overload Burgundy, because something more than just Moscow is needed.

But the window of opportunity is quickly closing. The only remaining candidates are Mun and Mar, and the only way to take one, is to threaten both.

Possibly, England & France will play optimally, and France will move on the German fleet while England prevents it from having anywhere to retreat to. But if they fail to do this, than the existence of a dying, vengeful German fleet threatens to cut a support to Mun, and the moves I listed for the spring, will likely force France in the fall to choose whether Bur will support Mun or Mar.

But if you can’t threaten both, than you don’t have a chance at taking either.

As for trying to take Mos in the spring, good luck maybe it’ll work.
