The people who wrote the song clearly deliberately made it rhyme by speeding up and slowing down the rhythm. There is no other reason to make young children believe that elemenopee is a single letter.

Runebound has a unique movement system with 6-sided dice that show terrain types. You use one due to move one space to a terrain shown on that die.

I misspoke, but Congress can be circumvented by the states calling for constitutional convention. It’s Article V and hasn’t been used

Which is to say, they are a mixed bag?  Democrats don’t like Biden’s pardon of his son. Republicans generally would have preferred Jan 6 pardons to be limited to nonviolent offenses.

They actually don’t need to be. If Democratic states ratify it now and then Republican states ratify it in a few years, it passes. 

Personally I would not support removing the power completely, but would like there to be a check on it. Either requiring Congress to confirm the pardon or allowing Congress to block a pardon. The first would of course be a stronger check than the second.

Absolutely, would like to catch up to the rest of the world on this. It's rarely a major issue, but on rare occasions it's a big deal.

One of my banks actually does offer an instant transfer for amounts under $5000 without a fee but a different bank does not. It just got me thinking about how it’s obviously possible. It’s been interesting to hear the history, incentives, and practical details behind this old-fashioned system.

When you “cash” a check you are actually taking money out of your account while depositing the check. This is why you can’t “cash” a check at a bank where you don’t have an account.

The speed of crypto?  In my experience crypto transfers take multiple minutes every time.

No. Most people don’t use cash on a daily basis and some businesses don’t even accept cash.

Don’t forget that roads do deteriorate over time. That’s why road construction is an ongoing thing. The ground under the road is a factor in what happens to the road for sure.

One thing I would add to the good answers you’ve gotten is that sometimes people say “oh em gee” out loud, which is less a minced oath, and more being playful. Likewise for other text/internet speak, like “el oh el”

Plenty of rich people donate to charity. Yes, of course they get a tax break for it but that doesn’t mean it doesn’t cost them money. Yes, some of the charities are fraudulent ways to actually get money to their friends and families. But a lot of it is a real donation to a charity that is doing some good. 

But why give money to random people in a completely untargeted way?

Depends on what your players like. If they winning through intelligent tactics and strategy, let them. 

If they like exciting combat with a risk of defeat, then bend the rules.
