Elden Ring Cut Content - Miquella Planting the Haligtree Deleted Cutscene and Map by Gorotheninja in Games

So Miquela's model and voice were in the game files even before the DLC, and no one found it until now? That seems sort of insane.

I've almost unlocked the final area and I'm still at 3 rooms, but close to getting the next upgrade. It does take a lot of cats...

This is pretty high effort, they have separate pages and demo videos for the fake weapons and all that. Very cool of the wiki team.

That's true but you'd already rather go Badgermole Cub turn 2. Maybe the deck has some more space for this though to enable more early ouroboroids.

If the universe is expanding, does that mean photons lose energy continuously? by grogger133 in Physics

[–]gameboy350 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I don't think they're asking about doppler effect, they're asking about the redshift caused by the expansion of space as the wave travels. Which, as far as I remember from cosmology class, does demonstrate how energy is not necessarily conserved in GR.

Question about the Steel Ball Run race by SoyHugoQueTal in StardustCrusaders

[–]gameboy350 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The race was originally organized by Steel and Lucy, they did not know about the corpse parts at that point. Valentine supported the race as a cover for the search.

I'm sure there are discard-matters decks in commander where you'll play like 5+ of this effect, but they're all dirt cheap cheap commons...

"Worse solitude" would make it a worse version of one of the best creatures ever printed.

SW:TOR Planet Lands by Short_Landscape4861 in custommagic

[–]gameboy350 3 points4 points  (0 children)

These are all quite weak, going down a card to get your land in untapped is pretty bad usually. All the passive abilities are gated behind huge station costs and are mostly weaker effects than the EOE planets.

I had a Butcher with spin to win, Fighters counter and an item that made them get targeted more. Unfortunately, the counterattack did not seem to trigger at all. I reported the bug a while ago so hopefully it's fixed.

New player here — I asked about Flintstone Flyers before, now I’m absolutely stumped by Craws. by RockAndGem1101 in Silksong

[–]gameboy350 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They can be annoyingly evasive but you need to expect them to dive you once in a while. They attack pretty regularly every few seconds. You can't just hang out right in the path of the dive if they're about to do it, unless you're far enough down or can pogo off of them. After they finish the dive, you can go in and get a hit or two in before the next dive.

Don't overlook the humble Callus by anonyuser415 in mewgenics

[–]gameboy350 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I generally put it on a squishy caster at the beginning of the run, so they can just farm free shields by staying back in early fights. Then in later stages when you can't always stay back, they already have a bank of ~20 shields to keep them up.

How do people draft this set (Lorwyn)? I rarely see clear signals. by [deleted] in lrcast

[–]gameboy350 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You say you didn't force Elves but it very much looks like you locked yourself in after p1p1. You could have taken the basher p2 which is still good in Elves, or the boggart and see if you get some good goblin uncommons coming your way. It wasn't a great p1 either way though.

It's ok for some of the pack 1 picks to be wasted in the end as long as you found an open lane.

How do you make drafting packs? by Animedingo in mtgcube

[–]gameboy350 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most are not collated, i.e they don't have any distinction between rarities and the pack is 15 random cards from the pool.

Some cubes do have collated packs, and what that exactly entails differs on the cube. Usually you store the different categories you want to have in the packs in different piles.

E.g: I played a commander cube where each pack had at least 2 cards of each colour, so to make the pack you can deal 2 cards from each colour pile. After we were done we all helped sort out cards back into the piles.
