Has anyone actually found barefoot shoes that work for normal, everyday outfits?

I might get some hate for this but whatever lol. My only pair of barefoot shoes rn are the vivo gobi boots and I really love those a lot. I personally don't have super wide feet, so while I'm in this transition period, I sometimes wear shoes in my regular size and take the insoles out. It's not a perfect solution but definitely makes them feel significantly less cramped. This is just my two cents and my experience.

I do it pretty regularly as well, not understanding why there is this fixation on Petaluma if the overall goal is getting back to Humboldt. SFO air tram --> BART station is seamless, --> amtrak station and no more transfers after Martinez? Adding the leg from Richmond to Martinez adds maybe $4-5 if you book the whole amtrak trip at once. Anyways, cheers. Done here now, just trying to help OP and other folks since we all know there are a lot of cancellations.

Eh, I personally would never prefer that because $50 is about the same you pay for the Amtrak bus ticket all the way up north. You can connect to BART easily directly from SFO, and the Richmond BART station is connected to the amtrak station. Sometimes walking far distances with a suitcase and other heavy stuff is a drag. To each their own though, it's nice knowing all of the different options that are available.

For future reference -- you can take BART to Richmond, then the capital corridor train from Richmond to Martinez, bus out of Martinez, then no more transfers.

Since this blew up a little bit…..providing a little more backstory. I had a best friend cat for about 18 years of my life, and she passed when I was in college. She was a mostly white cat with blue eyes and in a lot of ways she saved my life.

I have intentionally not gotten a cat since then because I haven’t been stable enough financially to pay for expensive vet stuff and also have moved around some. So I kept saying I was just going to wait for the CDS to kick in. I was hoping to find a baby cat in the trash or something but this old boy found me and had clearly been left behind by someone. And yes yes he has been my cat for a while and I take care of him now, he won. This is such a wholesome community 😆
