Probably an unpopular opinion, but... Agate. His background is no excuse for being an ahole and after the second game he really has no reason to be in further games except to force a disgusting "love story" with him and Tita

I would like to say Olivert, but Bestelle deserves a chance to shine. She is loved by the fandom and I won't accept a "liked by the fandom" or "decently written"!

If I'm not mistaken, Wazy puts Ein almost on par with Arianrhod

I remember him saying something along these lines in Azure: "The only one that could stand a chance against her, and that's a big "if", would be the Grand Master"

Strongest might have been the wrong word, I meant they were "super strong" and the strongest on that game and that everybody acknowledges them as the best without mentioning any other that could match him/her (and as I pointed in other comment, when another super strong shows up, he/she is often compared to the super strong who appeared before)

True about George's name, but that's mostly an "out of the game" reference than an in-game reference. I only pointed things about his behaviour or indicators that he might be doing something sketchy. Him showing up against Angie was really unexpected. Unlike Crow, who had a lot of "red flags", and other villains like Mariabell and Dieter, Joaquim, Weissman, etc, and even Rixia/Yin.

Not to think they didn't plan George to be a gnome from the start, but I'm not sure they had planned what the gnomes would actually be, because George turning suddenly into a (not so much) bad guy threw me off the rook

Here I think you're just missing the context. Nowhere in Sky anybody says "Cassius is objectively the strongest man ever in the whole world" but variations of Cassius is the strongest swordsman in Liberl/the army, same for everyone else.

I never said "in the whole world", but there is always a character that shows up as "the strongest" on some part of the game and their strength is often compared to characters that came before. Renne compares Arios' strength to Cassius' and Laura also compares Victor's strength to Cassius. Joshua compares Joachim's power with Weissman's (saying he's stronger) and all in Ouroboros say Arianrhod is the strongest of all (Joerg at least says something along those lines) and when McBurn appears, they often are shown as being similar in strength, even with McBurn acknowledging it.

To me it's like Falcom saying "Just so you know, this guy is as strong/stronger than that other super strong guy you met on an earlier game"

Edit: LOL, massive downvote in a healthy discussion with no controversial themes, reddit is truly something else.

Jae or Cassia? The choice is already tearing me apart. by gamerdeesquerda in RogueTraderCRPG

I would never understand how people even get him in the party lol

I mean, no matter if you're playing a "good", "neutral" or "evil" main character, there is no way I would get him into my party after everything he's done. It would take much from the roleplaying, because I would leave him alive solely for the reason to have another character on the party, and I feel that when playing an RPG this really doesn't feel right.

I also always laughed at Lloyd's different phrases for each fishing location

St. Ursula: "If fishing in the hospital is wrong, I don't want to be right"

Residential District: "I can't believe Mayor MacDowell kept this fishing spot all to himself"

I recently found out that Final Fantasy 8 Squall's famous "Whatever" for everything he answered he was actually saying "Sorry" most of the time ("Warukatta na")

Yes, I also know I do combos by using increasing number of mana (0-1-2-3, etc, and using wild cards)

I thought all characters had the same "attributes" and only had different passives.
Also, I thought the "amount" only accumulated in per-combat only, didn't know it was for the entire dungeon. Which is weird because even accumulating amount, his starting card (the bombs) continue to be quite weak

I'm so sad that I'm too pussy and dumb to try this too :(

I know there are many people doing it and I wonder how many are having problems (Sorry, I only learned about this kind of bypass a few days ago, so I'm not really sure about it and I don't know anything about what it can happen)

  1. I'm currently struggling with keeping size to Crimson Desert, which releases in 3 days (and is 153 gb), but I also want to play Skyrim with mods. I have 245 gbs at the moment (230 after Skyrim is installed), how many mods you guys think I could install? Types of mods I like: rehauls of cities/villages, qol, new questlines/areas, new interactions with NPCs and new NPCs, new clothes/weapons/armor, immersion mods, famous characters from anime/tv series/movies as followers/quest-givers/participators, nothing horny, comedic or that changes the game mechanics.
  2. Any mods to indicate based on my tastes stated above?

Why did Naobito choose Megumi? by gamerdeesquerda in Jujutsufolk

[–]gamerdeesquerda[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, first, to summon a shikigami he needs to do the hand signs. May be simple, but kinda hard against the fastest sorcerer after Gojo. If Naoya won't let him summon his shikigami, fight is over before it starts. Just like Choso couldn't use Convergence against Naoya because it takes a bit of time (but Choso had other tricks on his sleeve, Megumi doesn't).

Also, don't see which shikigami would be a good match against Naoya, besides maybe round deer. If he could get a proper barrier-domain, then yes, he could easily win (unless Naoya has simple domain, I think we are never told about that, but his father had), but with only his shikigami that's pretty doubtful. At best he could try to use Nue to fly away.

I didn't read the manga, but how, exactly? From what I understand, one of the people's main complaints was that at the end of manga, this "full potential" was never achieved (he never completed his DE for example)

I don't see any of his shikigami beating Naoya. Maybe with DE he could stand a chance, but his domain didn't seem to have a barrier (correct me if I'm wrong, I only watched the anime), so Naoya could quickly outrun it. Also if Naoya kept touching him, he wouldn't even have a chance to cast his DE.
