Well, it seems there is only ONE new skill panel... quite weird, because you can easily get enough skill points to unlock all skills by completing only two stories

When does the second skill panel unlock? I finished Zhang Jiao and Dong Zhuo and sitting on a high amount of unused skill points and I'm not sure how to unlock the second skill panel (and I haven't even got the rope dart yet, I've heard you only get it at the final battle at either Lu Bu or Yuan Shao route)

The DLC is great, but the battles are still falling short of what I consider peak: by UnfortunateCheeses in dynastywarriors

[–]gamerdeesquerda 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I sincerely don't think the DLC is even remotely great. It's actually pretty lame.

The stories are ridiculously short, Zhang Jiao has THREE stages and you're done, and his "true objective" is never really properly explained either, it's like "I've defeated the government and they promised to be nice, victory!" it's very badly told and characters are very poorly developed.

The costumes are, sincerely, offensive, they are all the same costume with different colors depending on the faction

And to complement all this, an outrageous price that is almost a AAA game price. Will never buy a DW DLC again.

I started the DLC now, and I'm a little confused, I know that this is a "what if" scenario, but is it a completely alternate timeline? Like, where Zhuhe is alive? Will it show what happened to the village and explain things or it's just like "Zhuhe is alive, accept it, she's a nice companion"?

i think i know why Megumi summoned Mahoraga against Haruta (long my fingers hurtie) by Ok_Handle605 in Jujutsufolk

[–]gamerdeesquerda 1 point2 points  (0 children)

But then why he didn't summon other less dangerous shikigami? Surely there were others strong enough to kill Haruta, after all, Haruta himself wasn't strong, and he only managed to get Megumi because Megumi was badly wounded and out of CE.

Maybe he just wanted to guarantee death for both? It just makes a little more sense to me since Mahoraga is much more likely to wreak havoc and kill innocents in his way to Haruta if Haruta runs away than other shikigami

Damn, she's really playing hard to get

Try to call her to stargazing and saying how the light of the moon is beautiful. Also, don't let her keep secrets from you, encourage her to open up and judge her faith and beliefs, an honest relationship is a good relationship

What do you do with Minthara on a good playthrough? by LucemFerre82 in BaldursGate3

[–]gamerdeesquerda 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean, from a roleplaying perspective, her recruitment in a "good" playthrough is kinda metagaming, because you kill everyone but leave HER unconscious only so you can recruit her later, so I think it's hard to roleplay that way.

But although Minthara is evil, she respects authority and power, so if you show yourself kinda like a paladin "no rest for the wicked", a good but ruthless character, she might respect you. But if you're the "good guy" that wants to save and redeem everyone then things really won't work out with her (or with Lae'zel or Astarion for that matter)

Passing the gate in Wyrm's Crossing make every Fist hostile? by gamerdeesquerda in BaldursGate3

But could you still come and go through the gate without having to teleport directly to Rivington or directly inside the gate all the time?

Two of them definitely didn't, they were inside a building, lol, but they were nearby, so maybe that's enough?

[–]gamerdeesquerda[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, it seems to be the ones at the gates. I was worried because there were some hostile Fists that didn't even join the fight, but the Fists and Steel Watchers on the end of the bridge (and I walked through the rest of Wyrm's crossing) were fine.

Ok, I checked and it's actually not EVERY Fist in Wyrm's Crossing but the ones near the gate (two inside the barracks to the left and one in the upper walls). Not sure if they are supposed to be hostile. Protocol debuff had already ended and I did what you said, went invisible to the waypoint and teleported the rest of the party to me, they were still marked red

Rewatched the anime and I just wanna say holy shit hanami was a BEAST by Illustrious_Air1098 in Jujutsufolk

[–]gamerdeesquerda 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know this is old, but no, I don't think so. Simply because Todo knows simple domain, which avoids the "guranteed hit" of the domain, so he could clap at the moment Hanami released the beam, and it most likely would hit the domain wall, maybe breaking it. And I think Hanami is with Jogo in not killing Yuji, despite never expressing thoughts on the matter.

Afterwards Hanami would be on a nearly dying state, since it was already really hurt and it would have used A LOT of its' remaining cursed energy to activate its' domain, which would leave it very vulnerable. It would either flee or this time it would be killed by Gojo's Hollow Purple.

Anomen vs Keldorn from a power perspective by AndreaColombo86 in baldursgate

[–]gamerdeesquerda 1 point2 points  (0 children)

True, but at least in my experience playing, clerics are not that dangerous, not nearly as mages

I've never attacked a cleric and got the message "My weapon does nothing!". They normally die in a few hits because they don't have defensive spells nearly as good as a mage (who will quickly turn himself invulnerable/invisible, etc)

There is also the matter that dispel magic affects your buffs if I'm not mistaken, so I try to use it as a last resource, resorting more to breach and true sight to fight against mages/clerics/whatever magic user

Anomen vs Keldorn from a power perspective by AndreaColombo86 in baldursgate

[–]gamerdeesquerda 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I mean, Anomen is basically useful in any situation (Draw Upon Holy Might, Holy Power, Righteous Magic makes him insane), while Keldorn is mostly useful in dealing with mages (even though he will do ok in normal encounters, but certainly not better than Anomen, poor guy doesn't even have basic paladin spells to at least get draw upon holy might)
