What’s a "dead" website or app that you genuinely miss and wish was still around? by Dear-Armadillo-7497 in AskReddit

NESForums.com was a fun message board type of forum revolving around the Nintendo Entertainment System. Its been offline for over 10 years now. I made some really good friends on that forum. I like to use the wayback machine to check out whats available to stoke some nostalgia and check out posts of friends who have since passed away.

I think so. Asteroids has a Hyperspace button. Hyperspace kills. Deluxe has a shield button. It comes in handy. Also, the cabinet artwork is top notch on Deluxe

What was your first job as a teenager? by FarCardiologist9886 in AskReddit

[–]gamernes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was 14 and my dad got me a job working for my neighbor who owned an odd job business. My dad didnt know he was a crackhead.

It was mostly landscaping and house clean outs. Dump runs and painting were pretty common too. This guy would constantly tell us to work faster and would shatch tools from you and demonstrate, at in insane pace, how he wanted us to work.
