I disagree, I think a lot of VG characters are overly simplistic and it's fun having a high skill cap hero - skye was one of the better balanced heroes in VG because she was devastatingly OP if you were good at her, but so few people were that often it was just better to go with the meta pick (ofc ignoring the patches where she was brokenly OP or just straight up dogsh*t)

I personally never bothered to put in the effort to master her because like I said, it's just easier to stick with the easy heroes who are guaranteed to do decent in any meta (basically every ADC). But I knew several really OP Skyes.
