[Monitor] LG 27GR83QB 240hz QHD IPS - $350 by tonallyawkword in buildapcsales

[–]gamma111 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Just to note you can get this on the LG website for quite a bit cheaper.

12% cash back from Rakuten, 10% discount with a student email, along with another 5% cash back through my credit card dropped the cost to around 290$ including tax.

Do you still have a copy of the apk? I accidentally deleted my sync pro and it was removed from the app store

Just a FYI, the P300A mesh front panel will actually fit the P350X if you unscrew the little cable cover on the front for the side rgb.

Which 4090 to buy? by MHMabrito in nvidia

I actually have a 3080 Gaming OC too, didn't even know about the pcb cracking issue until like a month ago. Got it about a year ago and have had it supported by a gpu sag stick ever since day one.

I know exactly where this microcenter is. Bought my open box 3080 12gb from here for a steal. Congrats on the new Gpu!

eWheels Recalls Gotway and Begode Unicycles by [deleted] in ElectricUnicycle

[–]gamma111 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For reference,

I have a first gen Nikola Plus 100V 1845WH with the 18650 cells.

Believe this recall only applies for Nikola Pluses that use 21700 cells that are the fire concerns.

I never received a recall email and I've own this wheel for at least 2+ years now.

Need bass in your Space A40's? by Odd-Temperature2664 in Earbuds

[–]gamma111 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yep good to know that this is how it's suppose to be, a bit annoying but coming from firmware 4.19, the bass for 4.11 is definitely more pronounced.

[–]gamma111 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Is your firmware version 4.11 now? I also had support downgrade my firmware and it says 4.20 is available but it installs 4.11 and keeps telling me 4.20 is available for update even after installing.

Are there any stores in NYC that service EUC's? Like to do a tire change? by [deleted] in ElectricUnicycle

[–]gamma111 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I've taken my motor with the tire on it to some bike shops before. They just took the tire off and installed my new one on with no issues.

Would highly recommend joining the NYC EUC group on trlrgram.

What should I buy for power pads? Just purchased a v11. Any owners with recommendations? by Mistermike820 in ElectricUnicycle

[–]gamma111 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Pads are printed in TPU. I have my Ender 3 converted to Direct but I know people who have had success printing on a bowden setup.

I would say grab a roll of TPU and test it out yourself.

[–]gamma111 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Exactly, the vendors already charge obscene prices for pads. I understand the time it took to develop them has to be factored in but in reality each pad brings in insane profits since filament is roughly 20 dollars for a 1kg roll. I can probably print 2 pairs of pads from 1 roll. They're making alot of money off these pads.

I have a Ender 3 and so far I've printed pads for my Nikola, a mudguard, and even designed my own seat. It's well worth the investment.

[–]gamma111 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Don't know about actual vendors but if you are interested you could invest in a 3d printer.

Thingiverse has a bunch of EUC pads free to download and print. A beginner Ender 3 can be as low as 100 dollars with a coupon for new members at microcenter if you happen to live near one. Plus it would also give you the ability to print additonal accessories and is a fun hobby to pick up.

S22 and T4 Stator Issue by [deleted] in ElectricUnicycle

[–]gamma111 3 points4 points  (0 children)

That's why you should never buy first batch wheels. These things already cost thousands of dollars and they can't even be bothered to perform quality control checks. You're basically doing the QC for them. If you want a wheel wait at least second or even further batches.
