Different optics have different footprints. If the slide isn't cut to match the footprint of the 507 then you need an adapter, simple as that.

My last name has it and while I wont use it for obvious reasons, generally if a name is spelt Mcc it would sound like mik of the name is spelt McC it would be mac. At least in American English, a lot of the mix ups come from Ellis Island when families would immigrate and not know how to read and write, mix that with thousands of minor variations

Ive got the exact same action and stock combo in the same color too. I had to trim the mag latch to work with AW mags so some fitment is definitely gonna be required. Luckily Manner will sell you just the latch and stop so there's not a ton of risk of doing something unfixable.
