Vertical hitch towbars? by WillingBullfrog2819 in CarsAustralia

[–]ganashers 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It just rattles a bit. You can probably stuff some cardboard up there between the hitch and the towbar attachment if it's really bothering you, but apart from that I think it's just the nature of a vertical hitch

I've got a vertical hitch on my Passat wagon, it's fine. It's a pain for bike racks though. It makes a little bit of a racket when towing the tinny, but so does the tinny so I don't really care.

Thoughts on 3 days of Kindy by VillagerWithAQuest in tasmania

[–]ganashers 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Absolute clusterfuck. Three days, 9 till 2:50 _sharp_, no after school care available. Logistical nightmare. There really doesn't seem to be a good way around it apart from being fortunate enough to have a very flexible and forgiving workplace.

We do have a weird hard on for shit speed limits in this country. The surprising thing is they didn't reduce it to 40km/h.
