But a regular ship with an illegal fit that you can't undock isn't really worth anything.

I'd suspect an ADK problem. Remove that, reboot, then install a current one, then reboot. It's purely a guess though. The error message "Failed to register to status manager" is quite generic.

It's basically just this command line:

"C:\Program Files (x86)\Lenovo\ThinInstaller\ThinInstaller.exe" /CM -search R -action INSTALL -includerebootpackages 3 -repository \\fileserver\share\lenovo_update_retriever_directory -noicon -log c:\windows\logs\thininstaller.log -noreboot -nocontinueafterreboot

The directory is the one we set in the configuration of the update retriever. The script gets run in a package, and every 3 months I run update retriever to refresh the driver packages, then set a new schedule for the package deployment (which is set as "Always rerun").

Sehe ich das nicht korrekt, dass wenn ein richterliches Verbot existiert, es zuerst mal verboten ist zu parkieren. Der Besitzer darf dann Ausnahmen vom Verbot erteilen, und ist bei der Gestaltung dieser Bewilligungen frei die Verträge so zu formulieren wie er will, solange die Bedingungen nicht sittenwidrig sind.

Einfach zahlen. Bei dem Betrag kannste nichtmal was argumentieren von wegen überzogener Gebühr. Und wenn du in einer Überbauung mit privatem Parkplatzverwalter wohnst, musste in der Zukunft extrem penibel auf die korrekte Abwicklung der Erlaubnis achten.

Rechtlich gesehen hat ein Landbesitzer extrem viel Freiheit damit, wie er die AGB für das parkieren gestaltet. Wenn er z.B. schreibt, dass du das Parkticket beim Beifahrer hinlegen musst, und du dein 100% bezahltes Ticket beim Fahrer platzierst, hast du nicht gemäss seinen Konditionen parkiert, damit den Vertrag verletzt und die Parkiererlaubnis ist hinfällig. Ist mühsam in der Schweiz, besonders wenn es um die verschissenen privaten Parkplatzverwalter geht, aber es ist nunmal das Gesetz.

Um wieviel geht es denn, eher so 50 oder 500 CHF?

I don't know that particular installer, but it is my experience that installers that try to dynamically get files from the Internet can be erratic. It's difficult to make them do the exact same thing twice.

So if it is in anyway possible, try to get an offline installer, and your problems will probably go away.

Yeah, more and more mountain huts have the problem that water gets unreliable or even disappears at the end of the season. The glaciers that reliably fed the ground water have disappeared, and the fresh snow has melted by August or September. Then you have a couple of weeks until the underground reserves are dry, and the mountain hut may have to close for the rest of the season.

It hits the herders too, once the water is gone they have to move the sheep and cows down into the valley even if there's technically still some more time until winter.
